sevens big guns 生き残る gruelling first day in Singapore
Fiji, New Zealand and Australia all 回復するd after losing their 開始 matches on Saturday to 捨てる into the 準々決勝 of the Singapore Sevens, the newest and perhaps most gruelling 脚 of the World Series.
Fiji, still 疲れた／うんざりした after winning last week's Hong Kong 一連の会議、交渉／完成する, were beaten 28-14 by their South 太平洋の 隣人s Samoa first up before 大打撃を与えるing Portugal 38-0 then England 26-12 to finish 最高の，を越す of pool A in stifling 湿度 at Singapore's 国家の Stadium.

Australia slipped up in their 開始 fixture against Argentina (12-7) after 譲歩するing a late try but 安全に made it through to the last eight on Sunday with victories over Japan (17-12) and むちの跡s (31-12).
"We were probably a little bit off our game but at the end of the day we got the 職業 done," Australia coach Andy Friend told AFP.

"I'm pretty happy about day one," South Africa coach Neil Powell told AFP.
