イスラエル's next Gaza war will be 'last' one: Lieberman
Defence 大臣 Avigdor Lieberman said Monday that イスラエル's next war with Gaza 交戦的なs would be their last "because we will 完全に destroy them," but 追加するd he remains committed to a two-明言する／公表する 解答.
Lieberman, speaking in an interview with Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds, said however that he did not want another war in Gaza, which would be the fourth since 2008.
The outspoken former 外務大臣 勧めるd Palestinians to 圧力 Hamas, the Islamist movement that runs the Gaza （土地などの）細長い一片, to "stop your crazy 政策s".

"As 大臣 of defence, I would like to 明らかにする that we have no 意向 of starting a new war against our 隣人s in the Gaza （土地などの）細長い一片 or the West Bank, Lebanon or Syria," he told the Jerusalem-based newspaper.
- Criticising Abbas -
"But in Gaza, like the Iranians, they ーするつもりである to 除去する the 明言する／公表する of イスラエル... If they 課す the next war on イスラエル, it will be their last. I would like to 強調 again: It will be their last 対決 because we will 完全に destroy them."
Lieberman is part of what is seen as the most 右翼 政府 in Israeli history, with several 目だつ members of 総理大臣 Benjamin Netanyahu's 連合 率直に …に反対するing a Palestinian 明言する／公表する.
But while he lives in a West Bank 解決／入植地 and is known as a 安全-minded hardliner, Lieberman believes in a two-明言する／公表する 解答 to the 衝突 based on land 交換（する）s.
He 繰り返し言うd that position in the interview, 説 he sees the main 解決／入植地 封鎖するs in the 占領するd West Bank remaining part of イスラエル under a final peace 取引，協定.
He raised the 可能性 of 貿易（する）ing Arab areas of イスラエル on the 辛勝する／優位 of the northern West Bank, such as the city of Umm al-Fahm, in 交流 for 解決／入植地s.
Land 交換（する）s have long been part of 提案s to 解決する the １０年間s-old 衝突, but the two 味方するs remain far apart on 問題／発行するs such as the status of Jerusalem and the return of Palestinian 難民s.
Peace 成果／努力s have been at a 完全にする 行き詰まり since a US-led 率先 崩壊（する）d in April 2014.
- 'Sermons and lies ' -
"Today, I think the 大多数 of our people do not believe it is possible to reach any 協定 regarding the final status 解答, and the same with the Palestinians," said Lieberman.
"The first step would be 納得させるing the people it is possible by making serious 改良s in the 明言する／公表する of the economy and fighting 失業, poverty and 悲惨 の中で the Palestinians. And for Israelis, 供給する 安全 without テロ行為 or 流血／虐殺 for a while."
He spoke of a period of three years without 暴力／激しさ and with 経済的な 改良 in the Palestinian 領土s as 存在 有能な of 主要な to 進歩.
Lieberman, who took office in May, also criticised Palestinian 大統領，／社長 Mahmud Abbas, 告発する／非難するing him of failing to make 妥協s.
He 予報するd Abbas would lose if 選挙s were held, with 投票s showing most Palestinians would like the 81-year-old to 辞職する.
Such 選挙s could lead to Hamas taking 力／強力にする in the West Bank, where Abbas's 世俗的な Fatah party 支配するs, but Lieberman said he believed a different 結果 was possible.
"There are enough sensible people in the (Palestinian 当局) who understand the 状況／情勢 and know if there is a choice to make between Hamas and イスラエル, they think partnering with イスラエル will be better for them," said the leader of the 強行路線 国家主義者 Yisrael Beiteinu (イスラエル Is Our Home) party.
Lieberman has recently spoken of trying to bypass Palestinian leaders and reach out 直接／まっすぐに to communities, and his interview appeared to be part of that 成果／努力.
Al-Quds, the 最高の，を越す-selling paper in the Palestinian 領土s, was ひどく criticised on social マスコミ by Palestinians who say it should not have agreed to the interview as it 量d to 許可／制裁ing "normalisation" with an 占領するing 力／強力にする.
The Palestinian foreign 省 （刑事）被告 Lieberman of "促進するing a bunch of sermons and lies that 否定する 調印するd 協定s and 侵害する／違反する international 法律."
Before taking over as defence 大臣, Lieberman made a 一連の 議論の的になる 声明s, 含むing one directed at Ismail Haniya, Hamas's Gaza leader.
Lieberman said he would give Haniya 48 hours to を引き渡す two 拘留するd Israeli 非軍事のs and the 団体／死体s of 兵士s killed in a 2014 war "or you're dead".
He has since 支援するd off and said he is committed to "responsible, reasonable 政策".
