恩赦，大赦 告発する／非難するs Syria of 集まり hangings in 悪名高い 刑務所，拘置所
国際アムネスティ on Tuesday （刑事）被告 Syria's 政府 of hanging up to 13,000 people at a 悪名高い 刑務所，拘置所 over five years in a "政策 of extermination", two weeks before planned peace 会談.

"Throughout this 過程, they remain blindfolded. They do not know when or how they will die until the noose was placed around their necks."
Most 犠牲者s were 非軍事のs believed to be …に反対するd to 大統領 Bashar al-Assad's 政府.
"They kept them (hanging) there for 10 to 15 minutes," a former 裁判官 who 証言，証人／目撃するd the 死刑執行s said.
"For the young ones, their 負わせる wouldn't kill them. The officers' assistants would pull them 負かす／撃墜する and break their necks."
恩赦，大赦 said the 集まり 死刑執行s 量d to war 罪，犯罪s and 罪，犯罪s against humanity, but were probably still taking place.
Hamid, a former army officer 刑務所，拘置所d in 2012, told 恩赦，大赦 he was 同時に horrified and relieved when he saw 囚人s 存在 taken to be hanged.
"I felt happy that their 苦しむing would come to an end."
In comments published Tuesday, Assad 主張するd that "defending" his country in a time of war was more important than a 可能性のある 事例／患者 against his 政府 at the highest UN 法廷，裁判所 in The Hague.

"We have to defend our country by every mean, and when we have to defend it by every mean, we don't care about this 法廷，裁判所, or any other international 会・原則," he said.
恩赦，大赦's 報告（する）／憶測 comes just two weeks before a new 一連の会議、交渉／完成する of 会談 予定 to take place in Switzerland 目的（とする）d at ending nearly six years of civil war.
"The 近づいている Syria peace 会談 in Geneva cannot ignore these findings. Ending these 残虐（行為）s in Syrian 政府 刑務所，拘置所s must be put on the 協議事項," said Lynn Maalouf, 副 director for 研究 at 恩赦，大赦's Beirut office.
The High 交渉s 委員会, 始める，決める to 代表する Syria's 対立 at the 会談, said the 調査 "leaves no 疑問s that the 政権 has carried out war 罪，犯罪s and 罪，犯罪s against humanity".

Thousands of 囚人s are held at the 軍の-run Saydnaya 刑務所，拘置所, 30 kilometres (18 miles) north of Damascus and one of Syria's largest 拘留，拘置 centres.
恩赦，大赦 （刑事）被告 Syria's 政府 of carrying out a "政策 of extermination" there by 繰り返して 拷問ing 抑留者s and 保留するing food, water and 医療の care.
"All you see is 血: your own 血, the 血 of others," Salam, a lawyer from Aleppo who was held there from 2012 to 2014, was 引用するd as 説.

"The 冷淡な-血d 殺人，大当り of thousands of defenceless 囚人s, along with the carefully （手先の）技術d and systematic programmes of psychological and physical 拷問 that are in place inside Saydnaya 刑務所，拘置所 cannot be 許すd to continue."
恩赦，大赦 said it gave the 指名するs of 87 刑務所，拘置所 公式の／役人s and guards 責任がある 残虐（行為）s to 明示していない "団体／死体s 有能な of 行為／行うing 信頼できる 調査s" into the 殺人，大当りs.
A UN 調査 last year （刑事）被告 Assad's 政府 of carrying out a 政策 of "extermination" in its 刑務所，拘置所s.
More than 310,000 people have been killed in Syria since the war began.
