'殺人 陰謀（を企てる）' has Congo 対立 in フラン watching its 支援する
Mbaou believes he has been 的d for criticising one of Africa's longest-serving leaders
The 事件／事情／状勢 reads like something out of a John Le Carre novel: two former French secret service スパイ／執行官s （刑事）被告 of plotting to assassinate a 上級の 対立 人物／姿／数字 from a former African 植民地.
But General Ferdinand Mbaou, the 的 of the 申し立てられた／疑わしい 陰謀（を企てる） over which the Frenchmen were 逮捕（する）d last month, says he is "not surprised".
Like several フラン-based 対抗者s of 共和国 of Congo's 大統領 Denis Sassou Nguesso, Mbaou believes he has been 的d for criticising one of Africa's longest-serving leaders from what he believed to be a 安全な distance.
The 62-year-old general is known for his outspoken attacks on Sassou Nguesso, who has 支配するd the oil-rich central African country of 4.5 million people for nearly 35 years in total.
Mbaou fled Congo after his former boss, the country's first 民主的に-elected 大統領，／社長 Pascal Lissouba, was overthrown by Sassou Nguesso in 1997.
He had already 生き残るd an 試みる／企てる on his life.
Mbaou believes it was the 政権 that sent hitmen to shoot him in the 支援する as he was leaving his home in Bessancourt no rth of Paris in November 2015.
The greying 62-year-old still has the 弾丸 宿泊するd in his torso.
"The doctors couldn't 除去する it because it is in a tricky 位置／汚点／見つけ出す, の近くに to the heart," he told AFP.
No one was ever 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d over the 2015 attack, and little is also known about the 最新の 申し立てられた／疑わしい 殺人 陰謀（を企てる）.
The 内部の 省 has 拒絶する／低下するd to comment on the most 最近の 事件／事情／状勢, over which two former members of the DGSE 知能 機関 have been 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d with a 犯罪の 共謀 and 所有／入手 of 爆発性のs.
Congolese 対立 members based in フラン say it fits a pattern of 脅迫 and いやがらせ.
Roland 徴収する Nitou, 長，率いる of a group called The 乱暴／暴力を加えるd of 242, after Congo's international dialling code, told AFP 脅しs were a part of his "daily life".
"They told me on the phone: 'One day we'll get you'," said the 42-year-old 兵たん業務 労働者, 追加するing that his parents were in hiding in Congo after they too received 脅しs.
- 'Ill-gotten 伸び（る）s' -
Nitou believes his group is in the 大統領，／社長's sights for 地位，任命するing ビデオs on the internet of around a hundred 高級な 所有物／資産／財産s where Sassou Nguesso, his family and some of his 大臣s 恐らく live it up when in フラン.
Some of the 所有物／資産／財産s have been 的d by a 目印 French 調査 into the 趣旨d ill-gotten 伸び（る）s of three big-spending African "first families" -- those of the 共和国 of Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
Nitou's ビデオ of a palatial 郊外住宅 in the Mediterranean 訴える手段／行楽地 city of Nice -- which he （人命などを）奪う，主張するd belonged to Sassou's family -- has racked up nearly 9,000 見解（をとる）s on YouTube.
Sassou Nguesso has held 力／強力にする for 35 years
Nitou believes the ビデオs have 攻撃する，衝突する a 神経 in a country where around one-third of the 全住民 lived on いっそう少なく than $1.90 (1.63 euros) a day in 2016, によれば the World Bank, にもかかわらず Congo sitting on large oil reserves.
In May, as he was on his way to a demonstration against Sassou Nguesso, he was beaten up by one of the 大統領，／社長's 支持者s.
No one has been 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d over the 事例／患者.
Nitou 告発する／非難するs フラン of "保護するing Sassou Nguesso" -- a （人命などを）奪う，主張する to which the French foreign 省 拒絶する／低下するd to 答える／応じる.
Paris has a long history of 支援 権威主義者 プロの／賛成の-French 政権s in former African 植民地s.
But 大統領 Emmanuel Macron, like his 社会主義者 前任者 Francois Hollande, has 公約するd an end to 干渉 in African 事件／事情／状勢s.
The Congolese 政府, for its part, 否定するs going after 対抗者s beyond its 国境s.
"All those 対立 members who 告発する／非難する Congo over things that happen in フラン are wrong," said a 政府 source in the 資本／首都 Brazzaville.
The source （人命などを）奪う，主張するd Mbaou "lived 自由に in Congo between 2009 and 2012" -- although he was in fact 刑務所，拘置所d twice in Brazzaville during that time.
"Why would we take the 危険 of making an 試みる／企てる on his life in フラン?" the source asked.
- Third-称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 騒動 -
Congo was 急落（する），激減（する）d into 騒動 in 2015 when Sassou Nguesso called a 国民投票 on changing the 憲法 to 許す him to 捜し出す a third 連続する 称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 in office.
Hollande 表明するd support for the 国民投票 -- a move seen by Congo's 対立 as a betrayal of his 約束 not to meddle, and a tacit 声明 of support for the 現職の.
The 対立 boy cotted the 投票（する） and also cried foul a year later when Sassou Nguesso won another five years in 力／強力にする.
In its 2017/2018 報告（する）／憶測 on the country 国際アムネスティ said "dozens" of Sassou Nguesso's 対抗者s were still in 拘留，拘置.
They 含む former 大統領の 候補者 General ジーンズ-Marie Michel Mokoko who was 宣告，判決d to 20 years behind 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業s in May on 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s of "土台を崩すing 明言する／公表する 安全" for 勧めるing 抗議するs after Sassou Nguesso's re-選挙.
Another 対立 leader, Paulin Makaya, was 解放（する）d recently after almost three years in 刑務所，拘置所 but has been 妨げるd from leaving the country.
