Friends of Nirvana -- legend has it the 肩書を与える for the 禁止(する)d's 署名 攻撃する,衝突する "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (機の)カム from graffiti Hanna scrawled on Kurt Cobain's bedroom 塀で囲む -- and an inspiration for 得点する/非難する/20s of 禁止(する)d 含むing Russia's Pussy 暴動, Bikini Kill eschewed the mainstream music 産業 eager to 調印する them.

That 独立した・無所属 spirit is perhaps what lead to the seminal 禁止(する)d's downfall; without the support system of even a 経営者/支配人 or 調書をとる/予約するing スパイ/執行官, they succumbed to infighting and burnout.

But for McDonnell, the cultural moment they cultivated "got 選ぶd up on in mainstream forms, like Alanis Morissette or The Spice Girls.

"I started my 禁止(する)d because of them," said Nadya Tolokonnikova, 29, of the anarchist feminist 集団の/共同の Pussy 暴動, calling seeing Bikini Kill live at a 最近の LA show "mind-blowing."

"It just gave me this beautiful feeling that probably I'm doing the 権利 thing."

As the 禁止(する)d -- whose members are now in their 40s and 50s -- tore through their trademark 跡をつける "反逆者/反逆する Girl" at a Brooklyn show, the 行う/開催する/段階 lights flooded the theater in rainbow colors -- an overt nod to June's Pride Month 祝賀 -- as Hanna sang: "In her kiss / I taste the 革命!"

Marcus said she hopes both old guard Bikini Kill comrades and those 遭遇(する)ing the movement for the first time will draw inspiration under a White House she dubbed "nakedly repressive."
