The US 政府 has 認可するd the sale of $800 million 価値（がある） of ヘリコプターs to South Korea, the 米国防総省 発表するd Wednesday, hours after 大統領 Donald Trump said ソウル had agreed to 支払う／賃金 more for the US 軍の presence in the country.
The 米国防総省's 弁護 安全 協調 機関 said the 明言する／公表する Department had 認可するd the sale of 12 MH-60R Multi-使節団 Seahawk ヘリコプターs and 広範囲にわたる associated レーダ, communications and 兵器 器具／備品.

"Over the past many １０年間s, the US has been paid very little by South Korea," Trump wrote.

The two countries have been in a 安全 同盟 since the 1950-53 Korean war, which ended with an armistice rather than a peace 条約 -- with more than 28,000 US 軍隊／機動隊s 駅／配置するd in the South to guard against 脅しs from North Korea.
