When the Games went viral: historic Olympic health 脅すs

Tokyo 2020 organisers will this autumn begin the 仕事 of 工夫するing safety 議定書s to 許す the Games to take place if the coronavirus pandemic is still 激怒（する）ing.
But Tokyo 2020, which had been 予定 to start on Friday until it was 延期するd for a year, will not be the first オリンピック to 直面する a health 危機, although the 規模 of the challenge 提起する／ポーズをとるd by COVID-19 is 前例のない.

- Nagano 1998: Flu -
There was an 突発／発生 of influenza the last time Japan hosted the Games -- the Winter Olympics in the central city of Nagano in 1998.

The 1968 Olympics in Mexico took place during one of the worst pandemics of the 20th century -- the Hong Kong Flu.

- Antwerp 1920: Flu -
