Zimbabwe streets 砂漠d after anti-govt 抗議するs are banned

Police and 兵士s 機動力のある 検問所s on empty streets in Harare on Friday after the Zimbabwean 当局 警告するd of a 厳重取締 on the eve of planned 抗議するs.

But people stayed home after police on Thursday banned the 抗議するs.
"All 安全 武器 of 政府 are on 十分な 警報 and will 取引，協定 decisively with any individuals or groups fomenting 暴力／激しさ," they 警告するd.
There were more 検問所s and roadblocks than usual on roads 主要な to the centre of the 資本／首都, with police and 兵士s stopping cars to request 身元確認，身分証明 and 控除 文書s 許すing them to enter the city.
In the central 商売／仕事 地区, there was a 激しい presence of police at most 交差点s, carrying batons and some with anti-暴動 保護物，者s, an AFP 新聞記者／雑誌記者 said.
A police トラックで運ぶ drove around an open space on the 郊外s of the city -- a 伝統的な 議会 point that the 対立 have 指名するd Freedom Square.
A truckload of police was parked next to the 議会 building.
Shops, banks and 石油 駅／配置するs were shut.
Police 広報担当者 Paul Nyathi told AFP they had received no 報告（する）／憶測s of any 出来事/事件.
"it's 平和的な. Everything is certainly under 支配（する）／統制する," he said.
Ngarivhume was 逮捕（する）d last week along with a 目だつ international 新聞記者／雑誌記者, Hopewell Chin'ono, and 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d with 刺激するing public 暴力／激しさ.

The UN's high （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限 for human 権利s has 警告するd Zimbabwe against using the coronavirus pandemic as a pretext for 制限するing freedoms of 表現, 平和的な 議会 and 協会.
The 政府 has 公然と非難するd the planned 抗議するs, calling them "a violent 反乱".
判決，裁定 ZANU-PF 広報担当者 Patrick Chinamasa earlier this week （人命などを）奪う，主張するd that US 外交官／大使 Brian Nicholls was sponsoring the 抗議するs and called him "a 凶漢".
There has been 普及した disillusionment with Mnangagwa, who took over from longtime 支配者 Robert Mugabe after a クーデター in November 2017.
He 約束d to 生き返らせる the moribund economy, but many Zimbabweans say they are worse off than they were under Mugabe.
The UN's World Food Programme (WFP) says some 8.6 million Zimbabweans, or 60 パーセント of the 全住民, will 要求する food 援助（する） as a result of a 干ばつ, 経済的な 危機 and the COVID-19 pandemic.
