The Iranian 海軍 began a three-day 演習 in the Sea of Oman 近づく the 戦略の 海峡 of Hormuz on Thursday, （軍隊を）展開する，配備するing an array of 軍艦s, drones and ミサイルs.
One of the 演習's 客観的なs is to 工夫する "戦術の 不快な／攻撃 and 防御の 戦略s for 保護（する）／緊急輸入制限ing the country's 領土の waters and shipping 小道／航路s," the 軍の said on its website.
The 海軍 will 実験（する）-解雇する／砲火／射撃 surface-to-surface and shore-to-sea 巡航する ミサイルs and torpedoes, and ロケット／急騰する-開始する，打ち上げるing systems fitted on 軍艦s, 潜水艦s, 航空機 and drones, it 追加するd.
Dubbed "Zolfaghar 99", the 演習 will be held over two million square kilometres (772,000 square mi les) of sea stretching from the northern part of the Indian Ocean to the eastern end of the 海峡 of Hormuz, the 極度の慎重さを要する shipping 小道／航路 from the 湾 through which a fifth of world oil 生産（高） passes.
The 演習's 広報担当者, Commodore Shahram Irani, said that foreign 航空機, 特に US drones, had been 警告するd to steer （疑いを）晴らす of the area.
