Student-led 決起大会/結集させるs have 激しく揺するd the kingdom since July, with 抗議する人s calling for the 除去 of 首相 Prayut Chan-O-Cha -- a former army 長,指導者 who (機の)カム into 力/強力にする through a 2014 クーデター -- and a rewrite to the 軍の-scripted 憲法.

The boldest in the leaderless movement have also 需要・要求するd 改革(する)s to the 君主国 -- a once-タブー 問題/発行する -- sending shockwaves through Thailand's arch-royalist 設立.

On Sunday, some 5,000 抗議する人s 試みる/企てるd to march from Bangkok's historic 僕主主義 Monument to the Grand Palace to 配達する letters to King Maha Vajiralongkorn, as the police 警告するd them to stop.

As the 行進者s got closer, police 解雇する/砲火/射撃d water 大砲 at them. The 抗議する人s 反応するd 怒って, shouting: "Why did you use the water 大砲s against us?"

Before the march to the Grand Palace on Sunday, the 決起大会/結集させる at the 僕主主義 Monument was 平和的な with 抗議する人s 詠唱するing "Prayut, get out" and 持つ/拘留するing up a three-finger salute -- a symbol of the movement.

They also threw flowers into a 一時しのぎの物,策 cardboard 棺 carrying a life-sized mannequin with Prayut's 直面する. Some scrawled messages on it, 含むing "go to hell".

Earlier Sunday, 目だつ プロの/賛成の-僕主主義 人物/姿/数字s called on the king to open 対話 with the 抗議する人s.

"We hope you will change your behaviour once and for all and become a King of all people," wrote lawyer Anon Numpa, one of the most recognisable 直面するs in the movement.

"I hope Your Majesty will open your mind and reach out to 対話 with us to solve the crises together."
