After 14 months of lockdown and 制限s, New Yorkers can now enjoy a city where most of these 制限s have been 解除するd.

But many have 保持するd the 用心深い approach they 可決する・採択するd at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, and are hesitant about partying and returning to the social life they enjoyed "before."

Yesenia Herra, 33, who 組織するs dinners and special events for tourists and who "loves to go out," last 週末 had her first party since March 2020, 招待するing around twenty friends and family to celebrate her daughter's first birthday.

For the safety of her guests, almost all of whom are fully vaccinated, she 組織するd the get-together outdoors in Central Park, with 倍のing (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs and 議長,司会を務めるs, balloons tied to tree 支店s, and enough food to 料金d an army.

"I didn't celebrate or do a baby にわか雨. I didn't do like a welcome home when we got out of the hospital unfortunately because of the pandemic," she told AFP.

"And so this is my first 祝賀 for her and I really 手配中の,お尋ね者 to do it with my family and friends and you know, I know she might not remember it but I want her to know that this did happen," she said.

While her guests seemed delighted to be together, many pointed out that they did not want to 招待する people to their homes yet -- except for very の近くに friends who they would be sure have been vaccinated.

"I don't know if we'll ever go 支援する to 完全にする 慰安 with that... not in the 即座の 未来," said Merry Mathes, 58.
