"Our 客観的な is to make sure Afghanistan is not の近くにd to the outside world, that it is not 孤立するd," a Turkish diplom atic source said.
The 国際連合 this month said 18 million people -- or half the Afghan 全住民 -- needed 援助, while half of all children under the age of five 苦しむd from 激烈な／緊急の 栄養不良.

While Washington still 見解（をとる）s Turkey as an important 同盟（する） in a volatile part of the world, relations have been bedevilled by 論争s, 含むing Ankara's 取得／買収 of a ロシアの ミサイル defence system.
Washington 許可／制裁d Ankara for the 購入（する） last year.
"The main factor behind the airport 提案... is Turkish-American relations: Ankara hopes to 回復する favour with Washington after a string of 外交の crises," 分析家 Salim Cevik wrote in a paper for Germany's SWP think 戦車／タンク.
A 安全 source in Ankara said Turkish 職員／兵員 have been "operating the airport for the past six years" and would remain past August if an 協定 with the US and other countries is reached.

"Whatever is needed to operate it, the discussions are on it," the source said.
"We've put it 今後 that we want to continue our work. We want no combatant 義務. We repeat this several times."
Ankara is also talking to the Taliban in the hope of finding an 協定 that could keep Turkish 軍隊／機動隊s from turning into 的s for the 強行路線 Islamist movement.
The Taliban has 公然と called the idea of a Turkish 軍の presence in Kabul "reprehensible".

Turkey has around 500 兵士s in Afghanistan as part of a 北大西洋条約機構-led 非，不，無-戦闘 使節団, whose 撤退 is nearly 完全にする.

The UN 難民 機関 in 2020 counted 125,104 Afghan 亡命-探検者s in Turkey, which is already home to 3.6 million Syrian 難民s.

A total of 201,437 Afghan migrants were caught in Turkey in 2019. The coronavirus pandemic saw those numbers 減少（する） to 50,161 last year and around 29,000 so far this year.
But both EU and Turkish 公式の／役人s agree those number are likely to climb after the US 軍隊／機動隊s leave.
