IAEA reviews water 解放(する) from 損失d Japan 核の 工場/植物

TOKYO (AP) - A team from the International 原子の Energy 機関 on Monday began its review of Japan's 計画(する) to begin 解放(する)ing more than a million トンs of 扱う/治療するd 放射性の water into the sea from the 難破させるd Fukushima 核の 工場/植物 - a review that Japan hopes will instill 信用/信任 in the 計画(する).

The 15-member team is to visit the Fukushima 工場/植物 on Tuesday and 会合,会う with 政府 and 公共事業(料金)/有用性 公式の/役人s during its five-day 使節団.

The 政府 and Tokyo Electric 力/強力にする Company Holdings 発表するd 計画(する)s last year to begin 徐々に 解放(する)ing the still-汚染するd water in spring 2023 after its その上の 治療 and 薄めること.

The water is 存在 蓄える/店d in about 1,000 戦車/タンクs at the 損失d 工場/植物 which 公式の/役人s say need to be 除去するd so the 原子炉s can be 閉鎖するd. The 戦車/タンクs are 推定する/予想するd to reach their capacity of 1.37 million トンs later this year.

Japan sought IAEA´s 援助 to 確実にする the 解放(する) 会合,会うs international safety 基準s and to 伸び(る) the understanding of other countries.

Gustavo Caruso, director of the IAEA's Office of Safety and 安全 調整, said on Monday that the 使節団 "in an 客観的な, 信頼できる and science-based manner will help send messages of transparency and 信用/信任 for the people in Japan and beyond."

The team will review 詳細(に述べる)s of the water, safety of the 発射する/解雇する, 見本ing methods and the 環境の 衝撃, he said. The team 含むs 専門家s from several countries, 含むing South Korea and 中国.
