THE FACTS: A （選挙などの）運動をする spokesperson and a 代表者／国会議員 for the 機関 that created the 宣伝 said the image of Mandel with the 兵士s is authentic. Both 代表者／国会議員s 否定するd that the photograph had been altered to superimpose Mandel´s 直面する の上に someone else´s 団体／死体.

A Twitter 使用者 株d a screenshot of the でっちあげる，人を罪に陥れる in which the 候補者´s 手渡すs appeared visibly darker than the 残り／休憩（する） of his 団体／死体, 令状ing: "To `証明する´ he isn´t 人種差別主義者 - Ohio U.S. 上院 候補者 @JoshMandelOhio put a photo of himself standing with 黒人／ボイコット 兵士s in his 最新の （選挙などの）運動をする 広告. Problem is he forgot to Photoshop the 手渡すs that 明確に show he put his 直面する on the 団体／死体 of a 黒人／ボイコット 兵士."
（選挙などの）運動をする spokesperson Scott Guthrie 供給するd a photograph of the 初めの image to The Associated 圧力（をかける） which shows the トン of Mandel´s 手渡すs is はしけ and more 平等に matches his 直面する. There are no other 指示，表示する物s, such as blurs, distortions or inconsistencies in the background, on either 見解／翻訳／版 of the photo that would 論証する the image was manipulated to 追加する new elements.
"It´s obvious that Josh´s 長，率いる was not photoshopped," Guthrie wrote in an email, 言及／関連ing the 初めの photo.
Fred Davis, CEO of the Hollywood-based 機関 that created the ビデオ, said no outside images were 追加するd to the photo and no 肌 features were 故意に darkened.
Davis said a "vignette" 影響 - which darkens the corners of images - was 追加するd to make white text at the 底（に届く） stand out, which may have also 影響する／感情d Mandel's 手渡すs in the lower part of the でっちあげる，人を罪に陥れる.
"Nothing photoshopped on that 広告," Davis said. "What made the 底（に届く） of the whole picture darker was the editor darkened just that little bit to make sure that joshmandel.com showed up, which was white type on 偽装する. It didn't show up too 井戸／弁護士席. Nothing else was done to it."
The 宣伝 drew broader 批評 Tuesday for using civil 権利s movement imagery and the 遺産／遺物 of ツバメ Luther King to support Mandel's message that …に反対するing 批判的な race theory is not 人種差別主義者.

批判的な race theory is a way of thinking about America´s history through the レンズ of 人種差別主義. There is little to no 証拠 that the theory itself is 存在 taught to K-12 public school students, though some ideas central to it have been, 含むing the ぐずぐず残る consequences of slavery. Still, some 対抗者s argue against teaching 確かな 概念s to schoolchildren, such as white 特権, systemic 不平等 and inherent bias.
