Connecticut 州警察官，騎馬警官 arraigned in death of Mubarak Soulemane
MILFORD, Conn. (AP) - A white Connecticut 明言する／公表する 州警察官，騎馬警官 who fatally 発射 a 黒人／ボイコット man, Mubarak Soulemane, に引き続いて a high-速度(を上げる） chase in 2020 was arraigned Tuesday on a 過失致死 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金.

Dozens of police officers, some from as far as Pennsylvania and New Jersey, showed up in plain 着せる／賦与するs outside the courthouse before the 審理，公聴会 to show their support for North. They later took up most of the seats in the courtroom, surrounding Soulemane's family and 支持者s.

Soulemane´s family, the NAACP and other groups said North should not have opened 解雇する／砲火／射撃 because police had Soulemane surrounded and he could not get away. They said North and other officers should have tried to deescalate the 状況／情勢. Soulemane's mother has a 未解決の wrongful death 訴訟 against North and other officers who were at the scene.

The chase, which reached 速度(を上げる）s of up to 100 mph (161 kph) on Interstate 95, had begun nearly 30 miles away in Norwalk after Soulemane tried to steal a cellphone at a 蓄える／店 and stole a Lyft driver's 乗り物, police said.
Soulemane's family said that he had schizophrenia and that his mental health appeared to be 悪化するing in the days before the 狙撃.
