Logano bumps Byron on next-to-last （競技場の）トラック一周 for Darlington 勝利，勝つ
DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) - After William Byron squeezed him against the 塀で囲む on a final 再開する, Joey Logano knew what he'd do if he got the chance to 回復する the lead.
Logano bumped Byron from behind on the next-to-last （競技場の）トラック一周 to 勝利，勝つ at Darlington Raceway on Sunday. Byron 攻撃する，衝突する the 塀で囲む in turn three and Logano went on to his first 勝利，勝つ of the season and first at the 跡をつける "Too 堅い To Tame."
"There's something to be said for an angry race car driver," said Logano, who broke a 40-race winless 干ばつ.
Logano, who started from the 政治家, had one of the strongest cars all day and was in 前線 coming out of the 炭坑，オーケストラ席s before a 再開する with 25 （競技場の）トラック一周s left. But Byron, who started low, 軍隊d Logano into the 塀で囲む and out of the lead.
"If someone's going to be willing to do that to you, then the gloves are off," Logano said.
Byron was not happy with the 作戦行動, calling Logano an "idiot" and a "moron" who has raced others questionably throughout his career.

The fans at Darlington let the Team Penske driver know what they thought, booing the 2018 NASCAR 支持する／優勝者 when he got out of his car.
"I've been called a lot of things, a lot worse than moron," Logano said.
Byron, who 調印するd a 契約 拡張 with Hendrick Motorsports, seemed as if he'd keep up his team's 支配的な season over the final （競技場の）トラック一周s. Instead, Logano broke a 40-race winless 干ばつ.
Tyler Reddick was second followed by Justin Haley, Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott, Christopher Bell, Michael McDowell, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Austin Dillon and Daniel Suarez.
Byron fell to 13th. He said the 再開する was just の近くに racing and Byron didn't deserve a hard 攻撃する，衝突する on the 後部 bumper so の近くに to the end.
"He slammed me so hard, it knocked all the 権利 味方する off the car and sent me into the corner," Byron said. "He's just a moron. He can't 勝利，勝つ a race, so he does it that way."
Logano led 108 of the 293 （競技場の）トラック一周s and reached victory 小道／航路 for the first time since winning on the dirt at Bristol in 2021.
It was the first time the new Next Gen car took on NASCAR's oldest superspeedway and the results were mixed. The racing was strong, although several of the 最高の，を越す competitors didn't last to the end.

ODDS ON FAVORITE?
Larson was the betting favorite to 勝利，勝つ for the first time at Darlington. But the defending Cup series 支持する／優勝者 continued his 堅い luck at NASCAR's oldest superspeedway. Larson, starting second, led 30 of the first 32 （競技場の）トラック一周s before spinning out on （競技場の）トラック一周 54 and 落ちるing to 29th.
Larson had worked his way into the 最高の，を越す 10 早期に in 行う／開催する／段階 two before returning to the 炭坑，オーケストラ席s where his 乗組員 popped the hood. They couldn't get the car refired - "I've got, like, no 力／強力にする," Larson told t hem - and rolled him into the garage.
It's been that 肉親，親類d of stretch for Larson, who was second in his past three races at Darlington. At a tire 実験（する） here last month, Larson 攻撃する，衝突する the 塀で囲む twice 早期に on.
It's the fourth time in 12 races this season Larson was out before the end.
"Bummer," Larson said. "But the 肯定的な is we were really 急速な／放蕩な."
PARKING SPOT
Kyle Busch's day ended after he couldn't 避ける running into Brad Keselowski after the Roush Fenway racer tagged the 塀で囲む 権利 in 前線 of Busch. A 失望させるd Busch 棒 his No. 18 car to 炭坑，オーケストラ席 road and left it there, walking off into his trailer.

Last year, Busch was 罰金d $50,000 by NASCAR when at the Southern 500 here he drove his 損失d machine into the garage, knocking over several 反対／詐欺s and 原因（となる）ing people in the path to scatter quickly.
Busch was asked why he stopped where he did. "Just couldn´t make the corner," he 反対するd.
UP NEXT: The series moves to Kansas Speedway, where Kyle Busch is the event's defending 支持する／優勝者. Kyle Larson won the October race in Kansas.
