NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) - The growing 沖合いの／海外の 勝利，勝つd 産業 is often touted as a boon for 職業 創造, but who will do the work?
The U.S. energy 長官 and Danish 勝利，勝つd developer Orsted say they want American union 労働者s to build 沖合いの／海外の 勝利，勝つd farms to dot the U.S. coastlines - the building 貿易（する）s 労働者s who could さもなければ be left out of a 移行 to renewable 資源s.
A 大多数 of onshore 勝利，勝つd and solar farms have been built either with 非，不，無-union 労働者s or without 集団の／共同の 取引ing 協定s, except for in California where unions are more 伴う／関わるd in the 産業, によれば North America´s Building 貿易（する）s Unions. Gov. Ned Lamont said there are "hundreds of good 支払う／賃金ing 職業s 権利 here" and "we're just getting started."
U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal thanked the unions, 説 "this is the 未来 of energy in the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs of America 権利 here." U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney said they're maximizing every 適切な時期 for the 明言する／公表する to grow in a 維持できる way.

"That´s what´s exciting about it, it´s new. We really don´t know what it´s going to bring or how many 職業s. But we know it´s a lot," he said. "We know it´s new and there´s a lot coming."
The first U.S. 沖合いの／海外の 勝利，勝つd farm began operating off 封鎖する Island, Rhode Island, in late 2016. Orsted acquired the developer and now operates that five-turbine 勝利，勝つd farm. The first 商業の-規模 事業／計画（する） is off the coast of Massachusetts.
