Queen Elizabeth II to 行方不明になる Jubilee service まっただ中に '不快'
LONDON (AP) - Queen Elizabeth II stepped gingerly の上に the Buckingham Palace balcony Thursday, 製図／抽選 wild 元気づけるs from the tens of thousands who （機の）カム to join her at the start of four days of 祝賀s of her 70 years on the 王位.
Her fans sported Union Jack 旗s, party hats or plastic tiaras. Some had （軍の）野営地，陣営d 夜通し in hopes of glimpsing the 96-year-old queen, whose 外見s are becoming rare, and a chance to watch the 軍隊／機動隊ing the Color - a 軍の parade that has 示すd each 君主´s 公式の／役人 birthday since 1760.
It was an 爆発 of joy in the 大規模な （人が）群がる, one of the first big 集会s in the U.K. since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
"Everybody has got the same 使節団," said Hillary Mathews, 70, who had come from Hertfordshire, outside London. "All the horrors that´s been going on in the world and in England at the moment are put behind us for a day, and we can just enjoy really celebrating the queen."
Elizabeth, who became queen at 25, is Britain´s longest-統治するing 君主 and the first to reach the milestone of seven １０年間s on the 王位.
Yet after a lifetime of good health, age has begun to catch up with her. Buckingham Palace 発表するd late Thursday that the queen would not …に出席する a thanksgiving church service Friday after experiencing "some 不快" at events on Thursday. The palace said with "広大な／多数の／重要な 不本意" the 君主 has decided to skip the service at St. Paul´s Cathedral.

The queen has had trouble moving around in 最近の months, and has pulled out of many public events.
But Elizabeth took part Thursday night in lighting a chain of 儀式の beacons at Windsor 城 as planned.
The Jubilee 祝賀s go on for a long 週末, and it was not すぐに known how the news would 影響する／感情 Jubilee events on Saturday and Sunday.
The palace says "the queen 大いに enjoyed" Thursday's events - and it showed.
She basked in her moment. Smiling, she chatted with her 広大な／多数の／重要な-grandson Prince Louis, 4, who occasionally covered his ears as 70 軍の 航空機 old and new 急襲するd low over the palace to salute the queen. The six-minute 陳列する，発揮する 含むd a 形式 of 台風 闘士，戦闘機 jets 飛行機で行くing in the 形態／調整 of the number 70.
The queen, wearing a dusky dove blu e dress designed by Angela Kelly, was joined on the balcony by more than a dozen 王室のs - though not Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, who gave up 前線-line 王室の 義務s two years ago. The couple traveled to London from their home in California with their two young children to take a low-重要な part in the 祝賀s, and watched Thursday´s 軍隊／機動隊ing the Color with other members of the family.
They did not appear on the palace balcony, because the 君主 decided that only working members of the 王室の family should have that 栄誉（を受ける）. The 決定／判定勝ち（する） also, handily, 除外するd Prince Andrew, who stepped away from public 義務s まっただ中に 論争 over his links with the 罪人／有罪を宣告するd sex 違反者／犯罪者 Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew will also 行方不明になる Friday's service of thanksgiving after 実験（する）ing 肯定的な for COVID-19.
The jubilee is 存在 祝う／追悼するd with a four-day holiday extravaganza and events 含むing a concert at Buckingham Palace on Saturday and a 野外劇／豪華な行列 行う／開催する／段階d by thousands of performers drawn from schools and community groups around the country on Sunday. Thousands of street parties are planned 全国的な, repeating a tradition that began with the queen´s 載冠（式）／即位（式） in 1953.
Not everyone in Britain is celebrating. Many people have taken advantage of the long 週末 to go on vacation. And 12 抗議する人s were 逮捕（する）d Thursday after getting past 障壁s and の上に the parade 大勝する. The group Animal 反乱 （人命などを）奪う，主張するd 責任／義務, 説 the 抗議する人s were "需要・要求するing that 王室の land is 埋め立てるd."
Yet the jubilee is giving many people - even those indifferent to the 君主国 - a chance to 反映する on the 明言する／公表する of the nation and the 抱擁する changes that have taken place during Elizabeth´s 統治する.
Former 総理大臣 John Major, one of the 14 首相s during the queen´s 統治する, said the 君主´s stoic presence had helped steer the country over the １０年間s.
"The queen has 代表するd our better selves for over 70 years," he told the BBC.
In a written jubilee message, the q ueen thanked people in Britain and across the 連邦／共和国 伴う／関わるd in 組織するing the 祝賀s. This country does like a good party.
"I know that many happy memories will be created at these festive occasions," Elizabeth said. "I continue to be 奮起させるd by the 好意／親善 shown to me, and hope that the coming days will 供給する an 適切な時期 to 反映する on all that has been 達成するd during the last 70 years, as we look to the 未来 with 信用／信任 and enthusiasm."
Congratulations arrived from world leaders, 含むing U.S. 大統領 Joe Biden and ローマ法王 Francis. French 大統領 Emmanuel Macron called Elizabeth "the golden thread that 貯蔵所d our two countries" and former 大統領 Barack Obama 解任するd the queen´s "grace and generosity" during his first visit to the palace.
"Your life has been a gift, not just to the 部隊d Kingdom but to the world," Obama told the BBC "May the light of your 栄冠を与える continue to 統治する 最高の."
元気づけるs and the clop of hooves rang out Thursday as horse-drawn carriages carried members of the 王室の family, 含むing Prince William´s wife, Kate, and their children Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and 4-year-old Prince Louis, from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade, a 儀式の parade ground about 1 キロメーター (0.6 miles) away, for the 軍隊／機動隊ing the Color 儀式.
The 年次の tradition is a 儀式の reenactment of the way 戦う／戦い 旗s, or colors, were once 陳列する，発揮するd for 兵士s to make sure they would 認める a 決定的な 決起大会／結集させるing point if they became disoriented in 戦闘.
Prince Charles, the 73-year-old 相続人 to the 王位, played a 重要な 役割 during the event Thursday as he stood in for his mother - as he has more and more of late.
覆う？ in his 儀式の 軍の uniform, Charles 棒 の上に the parade ground on horseback and took the salute of the passing 軍隊／機動隊s in their scarlet tunics and bearskin hats. He was 側面に位置するd by his sister, Princess Anne, and oldest son Prince William.
Tens of thousands of 地元のs and tourists lined the 大勝する between palace and parade ground to take in the spectacle and the atmosphere.
"I was 権利 at the 前線 ... I´m very proud of the queen,´´ said Celia Lourd, 60. "She´s been my queen all my life and I think we 借りがある her an awful lot for the service she´s given to the country. So I 手配中の，お尋ね者 to come to show my support today and say thank you."
