Painful 週末 of 国境 延期するs from UK into フラン
LONDON (AP) - トラックで運ぶ drivers and 旅行者s 捜し出すing to cross from the U.K. into フラン 直面するd major disruptions and long waiting times for a third day Sunday on the 週末 that kicks off the summer holidays for many British families.
抱擁する lines have formed since Friday at both the Port of Dover for those taking car フェリー（で運ぶ）s across the English Channel and in nearby Folkestone on roads 主要な to the Eurotunnel that goes under the Channel to フラン.
Eurotunnel said drivers were still 直面するing a wait of at least 90 minutes to check-in for the 鉄道 往復（する） on Sunday.
Still, congestion at the port had 緩和するd somewhat compared to the last two days, when it took several hours to （疑いを）晴らす a miles-long backlog of traffic as tens of thousands of people went on vacation along with a large 量 of 貨物 トラックで運ぶs.
Since Britain left the European Union in 2020, U.K. 旅行者s 直面する 厳格な人 国境 checks when traveling to the continent. At Dover they are 成し遂げるd on the English 味方する of the channel by French staff.

The Port of Dover said the 検問所s were "fully 乗組員を乗せた" on Sunday and as of Sunday morning, 72,000 乗客s had been 過程d over the long 週末.
