Milley: 中国 more 積極的な, dangerous to US, 同盟（する）s
JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) - The Chinese 軍の has become 意味ありげに more 積極的な and dangerous over the past five years, the 最高の，を越す U.S. 軍の officer said during a trip to the Indo-太平洋の that 含むd a stop Sunday in Indonesia.

U.S. 軍の 公式の／役人s have said Beijing wants to be ready to make a move on the island by 2027. The U.S. remains Taiwan´s 長，指導者 同盟（する） and 供給者 of 弁護 武器s. 中国´s 共同の 長，指導者s of staff chairman, Gen. Li Zuocheng, told Milley in a call earlier this month that Beijing had "no room for 妥協" on 問題／発行するs such as Taiwan. He said he told Milley that the U.S. must "中止する U.S.-Taiwan 軍の collusion and 避ける 衝撃ing 中国-U.S. 関係 and 安定 in the Taiwan 海峡."
The U.S. and others are also worried that a 最近の 安全 協定 that Beijing 調印するd in April with the Solomon Islands could lead to the 設立 of a Chin ese 海軍の base in the South 太平洋の. The U.S. and Australia have told the Solomon Islands that hosting a Chinese 軍の base would not be 許容するd.
"This is an area in which 中国 is trying to do outreach for their own 目的s. And again, this is 関心ing because 中国 is not doing it just for benign 推論する／理由s," Milley told reporters traveling with him. "They´re trying to 拡大する their 影響（力） throughout the 地域. And that has 可能性のある consequences that are not やむを得ず 都合のよい to our 同盟（する）s and partners in the 地域."
Milley's visit to Indonesia is the first by a U.S. 共同の 長，指導者s chairman since Adm. マイク Mullen in 2008. But U.S. leaders have crisscrossed the Asia-太平洋の in 最近の months, 含むing high-profile visits by 弁護 長官 Lloyd Austin and 国務長官 Antony Blinken.
