Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy 入院させるd after feeling unwell
MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - U.S. Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont was 入院させるd Thursday after he felt unwell at his McLean, Virginia, home, his office said.
As a 警戒 Leahy, 82, was taken to a Washington-area hospital for 実験（する）s. At the 推薦 of his doctors, he was 推定する／予想するd to remain in the hospital 夜通し for 観察.
Leahy, the longest-serving sitting 上院議員, is not 捜し出すing reelection in November.
By the time his 称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 満了する／死ぬs in January 2023, Leahy will have served for 48 years in the 上院.
In June he fell and broke his hip. At the time his staff said he was 推定する／予想するd to make a 十分な 回復. In July he underwent a second 外科 on his hip.
Leahy has been making a number of public 外見s since then.

Leahy was taken to the hospital in January 2021, hours after he had begun 統括するing over the second 告発 裁判，公判 of former 大統領 Donald Trump. At that time Leahy said he was not feeling 井戸／弁護士席 and he was taken to the hospital out of an 豊富 of 警告を与える. After 存在 診察するd, he was sent home.
