Virginia AG punts 調査 of child 乱用 主張s
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Earlier this year, the office of Virginia 司法長官 Jason Miyares 手渡すd off its 裁判権 in a long-running 調査 into 主張s of 性の 不品行／姦通 and other 乱用s at a hospital that serves 攻撃を受けやすい children.

And more than three dozen of the 女性（の） 原告／提訴人s 主張する Davidow, who has not been 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d with any 罪，犯罪, sexually 乱用d them during physical exams. The 訴訟s and other 関心s from 患者s' parents about the hospital, which have been 最高潮の場面d by 執拗な 報告（する）／憶測ing from Richmond TV 駅／配置する WTVR, have raised alarms at the highest levels of 明言する／公表する 政府 over at least two 州知事の 行政s. Under the direction of the previous 弁護士／代理人／検事 general, 民主党員 示す He rring, the office 起訴するd two hospital スタッフの一員s.
One, a 72-year-old psychotherapist, was 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d with sexually 乱用ing a 患者 and died by 自殺 the same day he was 予定 in 法廷，裁判所 for a 嘆願 審理，公聴会. The other, a behavioral 専門家技術者, was 宣告，判決d in December to a year in 刑務所，拘置所 after pleading no contest to an 主張 that she 故意に 燃やすd a 無能にするd child with scalding water.
Biniazan said that over the course of the 調査, he has been in touch with different 明言する／公表する police 公式の／役人s and AG´s office 弁護士／代理人／検事s. After Miyares was sworn in Jan. 15, Biniazan was told a new assistant 弁護士／代理人／検事 general was taking over the 事例／患者. But then his 会社／堅い received a call in the spring 説 the AG´s office was 手渡すing it off, he said.
A spokeswoman for Miyares said the Office of the 司法長官 最初 became 伴う／関わるd because the former New Kent 郡 連邦／共和国´s 弁護士／代理人／検事 had a personal 衝突. T. Scott Renick, who took office in January 2020, has no such 衝突, so 裁判権 was "rightfully returned," the spokeswoman, Victoria LaCivita, said.
Renick, who has one 副 and one assistant 検察官，検事, said in an interview that he did not ask that 裁判権 be returned to him.
"The 司法長官´s Office just wasn´t 訴訟／進行 at this time," he said, referring questions about the 推論する／理由 why to Miyares' office.

The Cumberland hospital is a 子会社 of 公然と 貿易（する）d, Pennsylvania-based 全世界の／万国共通の Health Services Inc., which operates behavioral health and other health care 施設s across the country and was also 指名するd as a 被告 in Biniazan´s （弁護士の）依頼人s´ 訴訟.
Joseph Farchione, an 弁護士／代理人／検事 代表するing the hospital in the civil 事例／患者, said no 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s have been brought against the hospital and to his knowledge, the hospital is not the 支配する of any 犯罪の 調査. Farchione also 公式文書，認めるd that Davidow was an 独立した・無所属 請負業者.
"The 従業員s of Cumberland Hospital are committed to the 設立するing 見通し of 供給するing high 質 統合するd care to children and adolescents," he wrote in an email.

弁護士／代理人／検事s for Davidow 拒絶する／低下するd to answer questions from AP but said in a 声明 that Davidow "堅固に 否定するs" the 原告／提訴人s' 主張s.
"He cares 深く，強烈に for the wellbeing of the 患者s under his care, has 協力するd fully and 率直に with 当局 when （民事の）告訴s have been 調査／捜査するd, and remains resolute that he will be vindicated in a 法廷，裁判所 of 法律," the 声明 said.
As for the 犯罪の 調査, Renick, the New Kent 検察官，検事, said his office had met with a 明言する／公表する police 捜査官／調査官 and was waiting on a final 報告（する）／憶測.
