Gianluca Vialli, former Italy striker, dies at 58
Gianluca Vialli, the former Italy striker who helped Sampdoria and Juventus 勝利，勝つ Serie A and European トロフィーs before becoming player-経営者／支配人 at Chelsea, has died. He was 58.
The Italian サッカー 連合 確認するd Vialli's death on Friday.
Vialli 発表するd in 2018 that he had 打ち勝つ a year-long 戦う／戦い with pancreatic 癌 but then said in December 2021 that the 病気 had returned.

The pair were known as the "gemelli del gol," or "goal twins," when they played together at Sampdoria, 主要な the Genoa club to its only Serie A 肩書を与える in 1991 and its only European 肩書を与える in 1990 with the Cup 勝利者s´ Cup - 加える four Italian Cup トロフィーs.
Vialli and Mancini also helped Sampdoria reach the 1992 European Cup final, which it lost to Barcelona at Wembley Stadium.

Vialli´s death comes three weeks after the prema ture passing of another Serie A 広大な／多数の／重要な, Sinisa Mihajlovi´c, who died after a long 戦う／戦い with leukaemia. Mihajlovi´c also played with Mancini at Sampdoria after Vialli left the club for Juventus.

"Such an 激しい sense of loss," Juventus said in a 声明. "We have always been with you, Gianluca. Ever since you arrived in 1992, when it was love at first sight...we loved everything about you, 絶対 everything - your smile, your 存在 a 星／主役にする and leader at the same time, on the pitch and in the dressing room, your adorable swashbuckling ways, your culture, your class, which you showed until the last day in the 黒人／ボイコット and white （土地などの）細長い一片s."
Vialli played for Italy from 1985-1992, making 59 外見s and 得点する／非難する／２０ing 16 goals.
He ended his playing career while also managing Chelsea, 主要な the London club to FA Cup, League Cup and Cup 勝利者s´ Cup 肩書を与えるs. He continued to live in London after moving on from Chelsea into TV commentary and other 投機・賭けるs.
"Our thoughts are with Luca´s wife Cathryn, his daughters Sofia and Olivia, and the 残り／休憩（する） of his family and his friends at this terribly sad time," Chelsea said in a 声明.
