（人が）群がるs decry gender-断言するing 治療 禁止（する） in West Virginia
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - （人が）群がるs at the West Virginia 明言する／公表する （ワシントンの）連邦議会議事堂 pleaded with 国会議員s Thursday to show as much compassion for saving the lives of transgender children as they showed for unborn fetuses when they 投票（する）d to 禁止（する） abortion just months ago.
Over and over, dozens of doctors, parents and LGBTQ people told the 共和国の／共和党の supermajority during a 審理，公聴会 that a 決定／判定勝ち（する） to 禁止（する） gender-断言するing care for 青年 would put children's lives at 危険. West Virginia is の中で 26 明言する／公表するs considering 禁止（する）s to 制限する gender-断言するing care for minors or young adults, with the most 最近の 活動／戦闘 存在 in South Dakota and in Utah, where the 共和国の／共和党の 知事 just 調印するd that 明言する／公表する's 法案 into 法律. "You all like to use rhetoric about not 殺人，大当り children as a justification for passing 法律制定, as you did this summer. You will kill children if you pass this," said the Rev. Some of the handful of 国会議員s in 出席 watched attentively, others looked at their phones or laptops or 回避するd their 注目する，もくろむs. People were given one minute to talk before they were 削減（する） off and told to sit 負かす／撃墜する. Almost 80 people spoke against the 法案. Two spoke in support.

Paula Lepp, who said she is a Christian parent of a Christian transgender child, told 国会議員s she believes the 法案 is contrary to the teachings of Jesus to care for the most marginalized.
"The 底（に届く） line is this: I would rather have a live daughter than a dead son, and this 法案 puts that at 危険," she said.
共和国の／共和党のs in other 明言する／公表するs who have moved to 限界 接近 to the 治療s for minors have often characterized the 治療s as medically unproven and 潜在的に dangerous in the long 称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語, as another political 戦う／戦い against 自由主義の ideologies. They also say 十代の少年少女s shouldn´t を受ける irreversible 外科s.
Braden Roten, one of the two people who spoke in support of the 法案, 勧めるd 国会議員s to look past the （人が）群がるs of people who showed up to speak against it and think about what 保守的なs would want.

At least 88 法案s 捜し出すing to 制限する gender 断言するing care for minors or young adults have been introduced across 26 明言する／公表するs. West Virginia´s 手段 禁じるs gender-断言するing 外科 and hormone therapy for 青年.
Many doctors, mental health specialists and 医療の groups have argued that 治療s for young transgender people are 安全な and 有益な, though rigorous long-称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 研究 is 欠如（する）ing. 連邦の health 公式の／役人s have 述べるd the gender-断言するing care as 決定的な to the health and wellbeing of transgender children and adolescents.
