LaQuan Smith brings showstopping Hollywood glamour to NYFW
NEW YORK (AP) - Looking 負かす／撃墜する on the New York Fashion Week （人が）群がる, model Frida Aasen 劇的な flung her LaQuan Smith shearling coat from the balcony of the ritzy Rockefeller 中心 Rainbow Room and 現れるd 負かす／撃墜する the cascading staircase に引き続いて the 悪名高い words of "王朝" actress Joan Collins:
"I now own this house."
While the 陳列する，発揮する was ーするつもりであるd to evoke the ´80s Hollywood glamour inspiration behind Smith´s Monday night show, it was also a subtle 思い出の品 to his attendees that this was a house that LaQuan Smith has built from the ground up into a 全世界の 高級な brand 開始する，打ち上げるing with Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.
As Aasen descended with a briefcase, fashion week attendees got a の近くに-up look at the artful tailoring of the neckline of her little 黒人／ボイコット 小型の dress. Smith told The Associated 圧力（をかける） that his collection was 奮起させるd by the nostalgia of the "王朝" television series and James 社債 films.

One by one, models descended the staircase in his beautifully impressive designs - from the 黒人／ボイコット sheer dress with a 急落（する），激減（する）ing neckline and 黒人／ボイコット satin 底（に届く） that rose at the hips and dipped below the belly button to the dazzling dress draped with 黒人／ボイコット fringe.

It was only fitting that as Smith 陳列する，発揮するd his menswear pieces that rapper and red carpet style 星／主役にする Lil Nas X was sitting in the 前線 列／漕ぐ／騒動. In a refreshing take on menswear, Smith´s 最新の pieces 含むd a 二塁打-breasted men´s 控訴 jacket that was cropped at the hips while another look featured a sheer 黒人／ボイコット button 負かす／撃墜する with a neck tie under a 黒人／ボイコット 控訴 jacket.
Smith 出発／死d from his use of 有望な colors last season to 会社にする／組み込む warmer rich トンs, from the 団体／死体-hugging, velvety eggplant-colored evening wear dress to the olive 十分な-length bodysuit and ivory trousers paired with a sheer blouse. Smith mixed in some patterns, 含むing a sheer chiffon polka-dot dress and a form-fitting, nude-and-黒人／ボイコット （土地などの）細長い一片d dress.
"This collection is really rich in texture, and it 叫び声をあげるs 高級な 質," Smith said.
When asked what´s next for the brand, Smith said he 計画（する）s on debuting his 従犯者s line soon. At the show Monday, models donned large heart-形態／調整d pendants and futuristic oversized sunglasses.
The significance of Smith´s rise to success and his 最新の show at the Rainbow Room was not lost on his guests.
"I don´t think people really understand how big of a 取引，協定 that they 推定する／予想する someone to come and have a show here because the Rainbow Room is very 排除的 and that is historical in many movies and parties we might have seen in the good old days," supermodel Coco Rocha said.
Along with Rocha, 前線 列／漕ぐ／騒動 celebrities at the event 含むd singer Teyana Taylor, actor and fashion muse Julia Fox and Ashley Biden, daughter of U.S. 大統領 Joe Biden.
