Snow, rain 激突する California as Michigan 苦しむs without 力／強力にする
LOS ANGELES (AP) - 豪雪 and rain 続けざまに猛撃するd California and other parts of the West on Friday in the nation's 最新の winter 嵐／襲撃する, while tens of thousands of people in Michigan 苦しむd in 氷点の 気温s days after one of the worst ice 嵐／襲撃するs in １０年間s 原因（となる）d 普及した 力／強力にする outages.
Days of winter 嵐／襲撃するs 黒人／ボイコットd out nearly 1 million homes and 商売／仕事s from coast to coast, の近くにd major roads, 原因（となる）d pileups on 主要道路s and snarled 空気／公表する travel. More than 460 flights were 取り消すd and more than 7,400 were 延期するd Friday across the U.S., によれば FlightAware.com.

Cellphones buzzed Friday afternoon with an 緊急 警報 that 警告するd: "This is a dangerous and life-脅すing 状況／情勢. Do not 試みる／企てる to travel unless you are 逃げるing an area 支配する to flooding."
Some places in the flash flood 警告 zone could see up to 10 インチs (23 センチメートルs) of rain, the 天候 service said.

Tom Rankin said he and his wife were unable to reach his 100-year-old mother-in-法律 Friday morning by phone. The couple drove to her home in Bloomfield 郡区, Michigan, to find her in bed "with a whole lot of 一面に覆う／毛布s," Rankin said, 追加するing they helped her to their car, planning to ride out the outage at another 親族´s home.
