BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) - Former Manchester 部隊d defender Nemanja Vidic on Monday withdrew his 立候補 for 大統領，／社長 of the Serbian サッカー 連合, an organization which has often been （刑事）被告 of 汚職, 罪，犯罪 and political 影響（力）.
The only remaining 候補者 for the position is former player and 退役軍人 Red 星／主役にする ベオグラード 公式の／役人 Dragan Dzajic, who is believed to be の近くに to the 現在の 人民党員 Serbian 政府.
"Our サッカー 直面するs big challenges," the 41-year-old Vidic said after 発表するing his 撤退. "Many things must and can be 改善するd. My idea was and remains to 組み立てる／集結する a team of 最高の，を越す professionals who are able to solve these challenges.
"Unfortunately, at every step of the way toward becoming the 大統領，／社長 of the (連合), it was made （疑いを）晴らす to me that we would not be given that chance."

The 77-year-old Dzajic, the only remaining 候補者 in Tuesday's 選挙, has had 合法的な 問題／発行するs tied to him in the past.
