US company 調印するs 協定 to enter 小売 燃料 market in 危機-攻撃する，衝突する Sri Lanka
COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) - A U.S. 石油 company 調印するd an 協定 with Sri Lanka on Thursday 許すing it to 輸入する and sell 燃料 in the country, いっそう少なく than a month after Chinese 石油 巨大（な） Sinopec also acquired 権利s to enter the 小売 market, as the Indian Ocean nation grapples with an 経済的な and energy 危機.

RM Parks says it has 供給（する）d a variety of 燃料 brands to 駅／配置するs in California for almost 50 years.
Sri Lankan 当局 have opened the 小売 燃料 market to more foreign companies in an 成果／努力 to solve the energy 危機 as the country´s 使い果たすd foreign reserves 妨げる 輸入するs of oil.

The foreign companies are 要求するd to use their own 基金s to 購入（する） 燃料, without depending on Sri Lankan banks for foreign 交流.
Sri Lankan 当局 have already 認めるd 是認 to three foreign companies to enter the 小売 燃料 market, and two have 調印するd 契約s. Australia´s 部隊d 石油 has yet to 完結する an 協定.
Sinopec 調印するd a 契約 on May 22 and will be able to begin 操作／手術s in Sri Lanka within 45 days after the 発行 of its license.
An Indian oil company was already operating in Sri Lanka.
When the 経済的な 危機 攻撃する，衝突する Sri Lanka last year, the 政府 didn't have enough foreign 通貨 to 輸入する 燃料, 誘発する／引き起こすing 厳しい 不足s. Sri Lankans are still allotted 限られた／立憲的な 量s of 燃料, which is 分配するd using a QR code system.
The 経済的な 危機 also resulted in 厳しい 不足s of 必須のs such as 薬／医学s, 燃料, cooking gas and food, 主要な to angry 抗議するs that 軍隊d then-大統領 Gotabya Rajapaksa to 逃げる the country and 辞職する last summer.
Sri Lanka defaulted on 返済 of its foreign 負債s and sought the support of international partners and organizations to 解決する the 危機.
The International 通貨の 基金 認可するd a nearly $3 billion 救助（する） program in March which will run for four years. Sri Lanka´s foreign 負債 越えるs $51 billion, of which $28 billion must be repaid by 2027. Sri Lanka has started 交渉s with creditors on 負債 再編成.
Last week, the 国際通貨基金 said Sri Lanka is showing 調印するs of 経済的な 改良, but its 回復 still 直面するs challenges. It said the economy is 推定する／予想するd to 再開する growing in 2024 after 契約ing 3% this year if the country 首尾よく 器具／実施するs 約束d 経済的な 改革（する）s.
