David Sedaris' first children's 調書をとる／予約する, 'Pretty Ugly,' to be published next February
NEW YORK (AP) - David Sedaris is publishing his first children's 調書をとる／予約する, a 共同 with Ian Falconer conceived １０年間s ago and finished の直前に the "Olivia" creator died in March.
Toon 調書をとる／予約するs, an imprint of Astra Publishing House, 発表するd Thursday that "Pretty Ugly" will be published Feb. 27 of next year. A look at the "age-old question" of what makes people attractive or unattractive, "Pretty Ugly" began 20 years ago as a 出資／貢献 to the anthology "Little Lit: Strange Stories for Strange Kids."
More recently, Toon publisher Fran?oise Mouly, who helped edit "Little Lit," thought "Pretty Ugly" would work as a stand-alone 調書をとる／予約する.
"With the systematic attacks いわゆる 保守的なs are leveling on all those they see as deviant or even just different, it felt 緊急の to publish a tale with such a （疑いを）晴らす moral 中心," Mouly said in a 声明.
