IOC 拒絶する／低下するs to give Russia and Belarus formal 招待s to Paris Olympics 1 year out
LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) - Russia and Belarus will not get a formal 招待 to the 2024 Paris Olympics when more than 200 国家の teams receive their 伝統的な 招待するs later this month, the IOC said Thursday.
It is an International Olympic 委員会 tradition 正確に／まさに one year before a Summer Games or Winter Games opens to 招待する all the 国家の teams 世界的な to the event.

The IOC said Thursday that 203 適格の 国家の Olympic 委員会s (NOCs) will be sent their 招待s to Paris on July 26.
"For the 推論する／理由s given, this will 除外する the NOCs of Russia and Belarus, 加える the NOC of Guatemala, which is 現在／一般に 一時停止するd," the Olympic 団体／死体 said in a 声明.
The 大統領，／社長 of the Belarus NOC is Viktor Lukashenko, the son of 明言する／公表する leader Alexander Lukashenko. He followed his father in the Olympic 地位，任命する.
The IOC 勧めるd international sports 団体／死体s last year to 封鎖する and 孤立する 競技者s, 公式の／役人s and host cities from Russia and Belarus within days of the war starting 17 months ago.
This year, as the next Olympics approach, the IOC has 押し進めるd those sports 団体／死体s to try to let some ロシアのs and Belarusians 評価するd as 中立の individuals to com pete in qualifying events for Paris.
The IOC has 終始一貫して said it can choose not to 招待する Russia and Belarus at all to what is its own event.
"The IOC will take this 決定／判定勝ち（する） at the appropriate time, at its 十分な discretion, and without 存在 bound by the results of previous Olympic 資格 競争s," it said Thursday.
Guatemala is 現在／一般に 一時停止するd from the Olympic movement because of 申し立てられた／疑わしい 政府 干渉，妨害 with the independence of the NOC there.
