Greek 首相捜し出すs 改善するd relations with Turkey but says Ankara must 減少（する）侵略

NICOSIA, Cyprus (AP) - Greece´s 首相 said Monday that his 政府 wants to take 十分な advantage of an 改善するing political 気候 with 隣接地の Turkey ーするために改善する二国間の／相互の relations にもかかわらず a string of １０年間s-old 論争s.

But Greek 総理大臣 Kyriakos Mitsotakis said that didn't mean Turkey had "大幅に changed" its 姿勢 on 重要な differences between the two countries and must "decisively abandon its 積極的な and unlawful 行為／行う" against Greece´s 主権，独立 and 領土の正直さ.

Turkey and Greece remain at 半端物s over 海上の境界s in the eastern Mediterranean, a 論争 that 影響する／感情s 不規律な移住 into the European Union, mineral 権利s and the 発射／推定 of 軍の力／強力にする.

Mitsotakis said that he agreed with Turkish 大統領 Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a 北大西洋条約機構首脳会議 in Vilnius, Lithuania, on July 11-12 to 始める new "lines of communication" and to 持続する "a period of 静める."

High-level 会談 between the the two countries are 推定する／予想するd to take place in the Greek city of Thessaloniki later this year.

However, the Greek 首相 said that Erdogan´s outreach to the EU couldn't come at the expense of 成果／努力s to 傷をいやす／和解させる nearly half a century of 民族の分割 in Cyprus, which has been 分裂（する） into separate Greek and Turkish （独立の）存在s since 1974.

Speaking after 会談 with Cypriot 大統領 Nikos Christodoulides, Mitsotakis said that he told Erdogan that 改善するd European-Turkish 関係 couldn't 除外する a Cyprus peace （許可，名誉などを）与える and that the 問題／発行する couldn't be "left by the wayside."

Turkey and the 脱退／分離 Turkish Cypriots have 主張するd on a two-明言する／公表する解答 since July 2017 when the most 最近の一連の会議、交渉／完成する of U.N.-容易にするd peace 会談崩壊（する）d.

That position overturned a long-standing 協定許可／制裁d by the U.N. 安全会議 in 非常に／多数の決意／決議s that any peace 取引，協定 would 目的（とする） for a 再統合するd Cyprus as a 連合 made up of Greek- and Turkish-speaking zones.

Cyprus was divided in 1974 when Turkey 侵略するd に引き続いて a クーデター by 支持者s of union with Greece. Only Turkey 認めるs a Turkish Cypriot 宣言 of independence in the island´s northern third, where more than 35,000 Turkish 軍隊／機動隊s are 駅／配置するd.

On Friday, Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar repeated that peace 会談 could 再開する only if Greek Cypriots 認めるd the Turkish Cypriots´ "君主 equality."

Christodoulides said Monday that any 改良 in European-Turkish relations should be based on 相互の活動／戦闘 by Turkey, 追加するing that the EU prioritizes a Cyprus peace 取引，協定 in line with U.N. 決意／決議s.
