Japan 示すs 100 years since the 破滅的な 広大な/多数の/重要な Kanto 地震, with 災害 演習s 全国的な

TOKYO (AP) - Japanese 総理大臣 Fumio Kishida 行う/開催する/段階d a テレビ放送するd 災害 演習 Friday based on a fictional 地震 in the 資本/首都 地域, as his country 示すd the centennial of the real-life 1923 広大な/多数の/重要な Kanto 地震 that killed more than 100,000 people.

The 7.9-magnitude 地震 that struck the Sagamihara area 南西 of Tokyo on Sept. 1, 1923, just before noon 誘発する/引き起こすd a 普及した inferno in the 地域, 原因(となる)ing most of the 犠牲者s to 死なせる/死ぬ in the 解雇する/砲火/射撃. The 炎 destroyed nearly 300,000 Japanese paper-and-支持を得ようと努めるd homes as the country 苦しむd major social and 経済的な 損失 just as it was 捜し出すing to modernize.

In the 影響, thousands of 民族の Koreans were killed as police and others 答える/応じるd to baseless 噂するs that Koreans were 毒(薬)ing 井戸/弁護士席s. The rampage has never fully been 定評のある by the 政府.

Japanese 公式の/役人s are worried another 破滅的な tremblor could happen again. On Friday, the 演習 ふりをするd the 影響 of a fictional 7.3-magnitude tremblor in central Tokyo at 7 a.m. Kishida and his 閣僚 大臣s, wearing matching light-blue uniforms, walked to the 首相's office for an 緊急 返答 会合 to discuss 初期の 対策 with hypothetically hard-攻撃する,衝突する Sagamihara city, the 1923 震源地.

Japan, which sits on the いわゆる 太平洋の "(犯罪の)一味 of 解雇する/砲火/射撃," is one of most 地震-傾向がある countries in the world. A magnitude 9.0 地震 on March, 11, 2011, off Japan's northeastern coast, 誘発する/引き起こすd a 大規模な 津波, killed more than 18,000 and 誘発する/引き起こすd a 核の diaster.

Kishida was to join a 共同の 地震 演習 hosted by Sagamihara and joined by eight cities incluing Tokyo.

官房長官 Hirokazu Matsuno told reporters that Sept. 1 this year 代表するs more than the centennial of the 広大な/多数の/重要な Kanto 地震. It serves as a lesson to building structures with more resillience to 地震s and 解雇する/砲火/射撃.

"We will not let the memories of the 広大な/多数の/重要な Kanto 地震 天候 away and (will) do our 最大の to take 包括的な 対策" as the country を締めるs for another big one in Tokyo and どこかよそで, Matsuno said.

The 地震 (機の)カム 13 years after Japan's 結腸 ial 支配する of the Korean 半島 began in 1910. Past Tokyo 知事s used to send a message of 弔慰s to the 儀式, but the tradition ended in 2017, a year after 知事 Yuriko Koike took office.
