Mexico's 最小限 行う will rise by 20% next year, to about $14.25 per day
MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexico´s 大統領，／社長 said Friday the country´s 最小限 行う will rise by 20% in 2024, to the 同等（の） of about $14.25 per day.
About one-third of Mexico´s 登録（する）d 労働者s 報告（する）／憶測 収入 the 最小限 行う, which will 量 to about $1.75 per hour starting Jan. 1.
In pesos, the 最小限 will rise from about 207 pesos to about 248 pesos. The 最小限 is higher in areas along the northern 国境, where living costs are higher. There, the 20% 増加する would take the 最小限 to about 375 pesos, or about $21.50.
Part of the 増加する in dollar 条件 comes from the peso's 評価 against the dollar in the last year. The Mexican 通貨 has risen by about 10% in value against the dollar since December 2022. That 増加する is 大部分は attributable to the high 流入 of remittances and high 国内の 利益／興味 率s, which make the peso attractive for 投資家s.
