"It was the exact same conversations I was having with my classmates and schoolmates in the ´70s. But 支援する then it was just chatter in the cafeteria or the dining hall," 追加するd パン職人, who played basketball at Harvard University. "Now it´s 通貨."

Massachusetts 司法長官 Andrea Campbell said that since the 明言する/公表する made sports betting 合法的な in 2022, a 法案 調印するd by パン職人, Massachusetts has essentially become a 関係者 in the market.

The creates a 重荷(を負わせる) on the 明言する/公表する to make sports betting as 安全な as possible, she said.

"Think about it. We´re putting an 中毒の 製品 - 賭事ing - on a very 中毒の 装置, your smartphone," she said. "We´ve gone from sports 賭事ing 存在 違法な nearly everywhere to 存在 le gal in dozens of 明言する/公表するs throughout the country in just a 事柄 of a few years."

In Massachusetts, it is 違法な for anyone under 21 to wager on sports or in casinos.

Because young people are going to be 影響(力)d more by the teams they support than by 明言する/公表する 政府 公式の/役人s, Campbell said it is 批判的な to create a public/私的な 共同 like the new 率先 she 明かすd Thursday, the 青年 Sports Betting Safety 連合.

Campbell said members of the 連合 含む the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics, the Boston Bruins, the New England 愛国者s, the New England 革命 and the NCAA. The goal is to (手先の)技術 a sports betting education, training, and safety curriculum for young people 12 to 20, she said.

NCAA data 設立する 58% of 18- to 22-year-olds have engaged in at least one sports betting activity, while the Massachusetts Department of Public Health 設立する about half of middle school students are 概算の to have engaged some form of 賭事ing, Campbell said.

パン職人 said the NCAA is 押し進めるing 明言する/公表するs with 合法的な sports 賭事ing to 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業 "支え(る) bets" - short for proposition bets - which 許す gamblers to wager on the 統計(学) a player will 蓄積する during a game rather than the final 得点する/非難する/20.

パン職人 also said the NCAA's 調査する of students 設立する that they were betting at essentially the same 率 whether it was 合法的な for them or not. It also 設立する that one out of three student 競技者s has been 悩ますd by bettors and one of 10 students has a 賭事ing problem.

"It's 基本的に a 50-明言する/公表する 問題/発行する even if it's only 合法的な in 38. And if you think kids under the age of 21 aren't doing this, you're kidding yourselves," he said at the news 会議/協議会 at Boston's TD Garden.

He said the ugliness and brutality of some of the messages on social マスコミ 壇・綱領・公約s of some of the 競技者s in the NCAA tournaments is 乱すing.

Last year, NCAA 公式の/役人s considered a 脅し by a bettor serious enough to a team that they gave them 24/7 police 保護s until they left the tournament, he said.

"For student 競技者s in particular, this is an enormously challenging 問題/発行する, and for a lot of the ones that are really in the 有望な lights, as many here will be tonight, this is just one more thing I think all of us would like to see taken off the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する," he said.
