裁判官 retires, is けん責（する），戒告d after sexist comment
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) ― A 退役軍人 New Hampshire 裁判官 has retired and been けん責（する），戒告d after he made comments believed to disparage 女性（の） lawyers.
The New Hampshire Judicial 行為／行う 委員会 正式に けん責（する），戒告d John 吊りくさび in a 決定／判定勝ち（する） 解放（する）d last week. The Strafford 郡 裁判官 had retired in September に引き続いて a （民事の）告訴 that he said the 合法的な profession is 存在 減らすd because more women are becoming lawyers.

The 67-year-old 吊りくさび said his comments, made at July 会合s with the 郡 弁護士／代理人／検事's office and public defender's office, were misunderstood and that he was only 推測するing about why the 評判 of the 合法的な system is 苦しむing. He told the 委員会 he was trying to make the point that sexism and gender 差別 still 存在する and must be 打ち勝つ. He also said he was tired at the end of a long week.
"We need to be on the 警戒／見張り that, as has happened in the past, sexism doesn't raise its ugly 長，率いる and 減らす or cheapen what is going on as far as women's 代表 in the professions," he said in an interview Tuesday. "Nothing I said was meant to 侮辱 women, cheapen women or demean women in any way."

The けん責（する），戒告 did not 含む direct 引用するs from 吊りくさび or the 証言，証人／目撃するs, instead paraphrasing 声明s about what was said in the 会合s.
The judicial 委員会 支配するd that his comments 侵害する／違反するd the code of 行為／行う by giving at least the 外見 that 吊りくさび may be biased against women. 吊りくさび 受託するd the 判決，裁定 but 否定するd any other 可能性のある 違反s.
吊りくさび had been an associate 司法（官） since 2001. He was placed on 行政の leave すぐに after the （民事の）告訴 was made and retired while he was on leave. He did not 統括する over any 審理，公聴会s after the （民事の）告訴 was made.
吊りくさび, who 起訴するd gender 差別 控訴s as a lawyer with the Equal 雇用 適切な時期 （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限, has agreed not to take 上級の status on the 法廷，裁判所 and will not serve in any judicial capacity.
