Shadowy 指揮官 is 直面する of 暴動 in ウクライナ共和国
SLOVYANSK, ウクライナ共和国 (AP) ― When shadowy 指揮官 Igor Strelkov appeared before the cameras recently in green 戦闘 疲労，（軍の）雑役s and a clipped mustache, he did more than 明らかにする／漏らす the 直面する of the 暴動 激しく揺するing eastern ウクライナ共和国. He 強化するd the 事例／患者 that Russia is behind the 騒動.
The 指揮官 did not 演説（する）／住所 ウクライナ共和国 and European Union 主張s that he is a ロシアの 知能 officer. But he told 新聞記者／雑誌記者s that he and his men entered ウクライナ共和国 from Crimea, which Russia 別館d in March after an 暴動 that ロシアの 大統領 Vladimir Putin now 収容する／認めるs 伴う／関わるd ロシアの 軍隊／機動隊s. Strelkov's 主張 that many of the 謀反のs are not 地元のs 土台を崩すs 反逆者／反逆する （人命などを）奪う，主張するs that the 暴動 is a spontaneous 反乱, rather than a 連係させた 操作／手術 支援するd by outside 軍隊s.
"The 民兵 is of course 堅固に ぱらぱら雨d with volunteers from other 地域s," Strelkov said in a taped interview with ロシアの tabloid Komsomolskaya Pravda. He 概算の that a third of the 闘士，戦闘機s are not Ukrainian. He backtracked Tuesday in an interview with ロシアの TV, （人命などを）奪う，主張するing 90 パーセント of the militiamen were Ukrainian.

The EU on Tuesday 含むd Strelkov の中で 15 new people 的d by 許可／制裁s. EU 文書s identify him as a member of the ロシアの 軍の 知能 機関 GRU, as do Ukrainian 当局. The 指揮官 himself was cryptic about his origins in the 週末 interview.
In Moscow, a flurry of 演劇 surrounded Strelkov's 出現, as camera 乗組員s 群れているd around an apartment building that Ukrainian TV 報告（する）／憶測d to be home to his mother. Neighbors told The Associated 圧力（をかける） that a "fancy 黒人／ボイコット car" had turned up Tuesday morning to 素早い行動 the woman away.
平等に murky are the origins of Strelkov's 謀反のs, their 操作／手術s and their 武器s. They have proven themselves to be ruthless and 効果的な, running their （選挙などの）運動をする with unerring foreknowledge of Ukrainian 安全 操作／手術s.
Strelkov said his 軍隊s 得るd their 武器s partly from police buildings they had taken over, 追加するing that his men also took 武器 and 乗り物s from Ukrainian 軍隊s they fought when they entered eastern ウクライナ共和国 last month.
"Russia so far hasn't 供給（する）d us with a 選び出す／独身 machine gun or 弾丸," he said.
It wasn't （疑いを）晴らす why Strelkov has chosen to go public now.
The 謀反のs are 捜し出すing more 自治 from Kiev ― かもしれない even independence or 併合 by Russia. ウクライナ共和国's 事実上の／代理 政府 and the West have （刑事）被告 Moscow of orchestrating the 不安, which they 恐れる could be used as a pretext for a ロシアの 侵略.
The belief that the Kremlin is directing the 謀反のs ― whose mysterious origins and green 疲労，（軍の）雑役s have won them the moniker "little green men" ― 伸び（る）d credence when Putin last month dropped his 否定s that the ロシアの army had been （軍隊を）展開する，配備するd in Crimea during the 反乱 in that 地域.
But there are differences between that 状況／情勢 and eastern ウクライナ共和国. The プロの／賛成の-ロシアの 闘士，戦闘機s here are 大幅に いっそう少なく 非常に／多数の than they were in Crimea. And they 落ちる into two 幅の広い 部類s: men in uniform who have the 技術s of professional 兵士s, and いっそう少なく-組織するd 地元の militiamen.
The former, 構成するd of men dressed in balaclavas and a variety of 軍の-style 疲労，（軍の）雑役s without insignia, have been （軍隊を）展開する，配備するd in 早い seizures of 政府 offices. On Monday, a ギャング（団） of about 15 such men carrying Kalashnikovs took over a building 住宅 the city hall and city 会議 in Kostyantynivka, 160 キロメーターs (100 miles) west of the ロシアの 国境. At least one was carrying a ロケット／急騰する-propelled 手りゅう弾 発射台.
Strelkov said his own 民兵 軍隊 is made up of 戦う／戦い-常習的な fight ers: "Many are Ukrainian 国民s who have fought in the 階級s of the ロシアの 武装した 軍隊s ― in Chechnya and Central Asia. There are also those who fought in Iraq and Yugoslavia in the Ukrainian army. There are even those who have managed to be in Syria."
A 明確に いっそう少なく professional 乗組員 patrols 検問所s in and around the city of Slovyansk, the 謀反の （警察，軍隊などの）本部. Typically dressed in 非軍事の 着せる／賦与するing, these 地元の men are mostly 武装した with simpler 武器s. Some carry 追跡（する）ing guns; others just have sticks.
In one of the rare instances in which Ukrainian 政府 軍隊／機動隊s moved in on the 謀反のs ― at a 検問所 at the northern 入り口 to Slovyansk ― the people defending the position 分散させるd quickly.
But these 地元のs can also be 効果的な: 暴徒s of stick-（権力などを）行使するing men and fiery 非軍事の （人が）群がるs have played important 役割s in 掴むing 政府 offices and, in one 事例／患者, snatching 装甲の 乗り物s from Ukrainian 軍隊／機動隊s.
見積（る）s of the 謀反のs' numbers are hard to come by, but a variety of 証言，証人／目撃する accounts 示唆する the low hundreds.
Harder to pin 負かす／撃墜する is a （疑いを）晴らす link to Russia. Putin 否定するs his 軍隊s are in eastern ウクライナ共和国 and his foreign 省 calls such （人命などを）奪う，主張するs "flimsy insinuations."
But several 新聞記者／雑誌記者s have 報告（する）／憶測d militiamen letting slip that they are ロシアの 国民s, and U.S. and 北大西洋条約機構 公式の／役人s 主張する there is strong 証拠 linking events in eastern ウクライナ共和国 to Russia.
And the eerie 技術 with which the green men 心配する ウクライナ共和国's every 安全 move 申し込む／申し出s strong 状況証拠 of ロシアの 関与.
On April 13, Ukrainian special 軍隊s 均衡を保った to 開始する，打ち上げる a strike on the town of Slovyansk were preemptively attacked by a handf ul of 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑うd プロの／賛成の-ロシアの 軍隊／機動隊s. Then, this past 週末, three Ukrainian special services スパイ／執行官s were kidnapped and spirited away to Slovyansk, where they were 現在のd to ロシアの 新聞記者／雑誌記者s with 調印するs of 激しい beatings. As the reporters harangued the 血まみれのd men, stripped of their trousers, Strelkov crowed about his ability to outfox his 対抗者s.
Both Western and Ukrainian 専門家s say the events 示唆する that Ukrainian 安全 services have been infiltrated by ロシアの 知能.
"We have our own スパイ／執行官s who have been 新採用するd, who are working for the adversary," said Vasil Krutov, 長，率いる of ウクライナ共和国's anti-テロリスト 中心.
U.S. 空気／公表する 軍隊 Gen. Philip Breedlove, 北大西洋条約機構's 最高の 指揮官 in Europe, argues that the 結論 to be drawn from 観察s on the ground is inescapable.
"What is happening in eastern ウクライナ共和国 is a 軍の 操作／手術 that is 井戸／弁護士席-planned and 組織するd," Breedlove wrote on the 北大西洋条約機構 website, "and we 査定する／（税金などを）課す that it is 存在 carried out at the direction of Russia."
