寄贈者s 誓約（する） $80 million to 保護する wild cats
DUBAI, 部隊d Arab 首長国s (AP) ― The 栄冠を与える prince of the oil-rich 中東の 首長国 of Abu Dhabi and other international 寄贈者s committed a 連合させるd $80 million on Sunday to 基金 the 自然保護 of tigers and other wild cats whose 生き残り is under 脅し.
The 寄贈者s 発表するd the 10-year 基金ing 成果／努力, a 共同 with New York-based cat 自然保護 organization Panthera, に引き続いて a 私的な 調印 儀式 in the 部隊d Arab 首長国s 資本／首都 of Abu Dhabi.

Each person or family is committing $20 million over a １０年間.
The 基金s will go toward Panthera's 目的（とする） of helping to 保存する 38 種類 of wild cats through 事業／計画（する）s such as anti-poaching 成果／努力s and 時折の land 購入（する）s to create 安全な 回廊（地帯）s for the animals. Some will be 配分するd for 存在するing programs, while others will 与える／捧げる to new 率先s.
"For 自然保護 to be 効果的な, it's got to 規模 up," Panthera CEO and cat 専門家 Alan Rabinowitz said. "That takes 基金ing."
The 栄冠を与える prince plays a 重要な 役割 in the day-to-day running of the 部隊d Arab 首長国s, a seven-明言する／公表する 連合 and 石油輸出国機構 member that 含むs Dubai. He is next in line to 後継する Emirati 大統領 （イスラム圏での）首長 Khalifa 貯蔵所 Zayed Al Nahyan, his half-brother, as 支配者 of Abu Dhabi and likely as UAE 大統領，／社長. （イスラム圏での）首長 Khalifa 苦しむd a 一打／打撃 in January and the severity of his illness is 不明瞭な.
The 栄冠を与える prince's 出資／貢献 to the 基金ing 成果／努力 will be managed through a 自然保護 基金 he 始める，決める up in 2009 that awards 認めるs まず第一に／本来 to small 自然保護 事業／計画（する）s in the developing world. Unlike some rich Emiratis and other 湾 Arabs, he does not keep 捕虜 big cats of his own, said the 基金's director-general, Frederic Launay.
Panthera was created in 2006 to 焦点（を合わせる） on 保存するing wild cats, in particular tigers, lions, jaguars, snow ヒョウs, cheetahs, cougars and ヒョウs.
