HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) ― A Connecticut woman blinded and disfigured by a chimpanzee attack will visit Washington this week to 勧める the passage of 支配するs to make it harder to keep 大主教s as pets.

Nash, who underwent 直面する 移植(する) 外科 in 2011, is scheduled to appear at a news 会議/協議会 on Thursday in Washington with 代表者/国会議員s of The Humane Society of the 部隊d 明言する/公表するs to 圧力(をかける) 議会 to support the 捕虜 大主教s Safety 行為/法令/行動する. "There have been several 大主教 attacks on human 存在s 文書d in the news over the past couple of 10年間s. And those are just the ones that make the news," he said. He said 大主教s can also expose humans to さまざまな 病気s.

In February 2009, Nash had come at the request of her friend and 雇用者, Sandra Herold, to 誘惑する the woman's pet chimp, Travis, 支援する inside her Stamford, Connecticut home. But the animal went berserk and attacked Nash.

Herold, who died in 2010, had bought the chimpanzee in Missouri when it was an 幼児 and brought it to Connecticut.
