House GOP to DC: Guns 承認する, マリファナ dangerous
WASHINGTON (AP) ― If House 共和国の／共和党のs have their way, 地区 of Columbia 居住（者）s won't be 許すd to walk the streets with a 共同の in their pocket, and they will be 許すd to carry a 半分-(a)自動的な／(n)自動拳銃 ライフル銃／探して盗む.
The GOP-controlled House 認可するd a spending 法案 Wednesday that would undo the 地区's strict gun-支配（する）／統制する 法律s and its 法律 decriminalizing 所有／入手 of small 量s of マリファナ. The 運命／宿命 of the spending 法案 and the 改正s will likely depend on 交渉s between the House, 上院 and White House.
The gun 改正 was introduced by 共和国の／共和党の Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky. Twenty 民主党員s joined 221 共和国の／共和党のs in 投票（する）ing for it, while four GOP 国会議員s 投票（する）d against it.
A 2008 最高裁判所 決定／判定勝ち（する） struck 負かす／撃墜する the 地区's 長年の 禁止（する） on handgun 所有／入手. 居住（者）s of the nation's 資本／首都 must 登録（する） handguns every three years, 完全にする a safety course and be 指紋d and photographed. The Massie 改正 would get rid of all those, leaving only 連邦の gun-支配（する）／統制する 法律s to 治める／統治する the 地区.
"It is time for 議会 to step in and stop the D.C. 政府's いやがらせ and 罰 of 法律-がまんするing 国民s who 簡単に want to defend themselves," Massie said in a 声明.
議会 has the final say over the 地区's 地元の 法律s and 予算.
Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, a 民主党員 who 代表するs the 地区 in 議会 but cannot 投票（する） on the House 床に打ち倒す, called the 改正 dangerous and 誓約（する）d to 敗北・負かす it.
"Rep . Massie may think D.C. will be one of the most permissive gun 裁判権s in the country ― where you can 率直に carry 強襲，強姦 武器s in the street and get a gun with no background check ― but he's wrong," Norton said in a 声明.
The マリファナ 改正, introduced in 委員会 last month by 共和国の／共和党の Rep. Andy Harris of Maryland, would 封鎖する the 地区 from spending any money to 自由化する its マリファナ 法律s.

Harris argued that the decriminalization 法律 was bad 政策 and would lead more children to smoke マリファナ, 傷つけるing their brain 開発. Gray and other city leaders 答える／応じるd by calling for a ボイコット（する） of Harris' 地区, which 含むs popular vacation 位置／汚点／見つけ出すs on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
