US: New Jersey made errors in 地位，任命する-Sandy 契約
The 連邦の 政府 says New Jersey did not run afoul of any 規則s when Gov. Chris Christie starred in 広告s that 促進するd the shore in the summer after Superstorm Sandy 攻撃する，衝突する the 明言する／公表する.
But an audit by the Department of 住宅 and 都市の 開発's 視察官 general finds the 明言する／公表する did make mistakes in procuring the marketing 契約 価値（がある） up to $25 million.
A 報告（する）／憶測 問題／発行するd last week and made public Wednesday says the 明言する／公表する failed to make 独立した・無所属 cost 見積（る）s, as 要求するd under 連邦の 基金ing 支配するs. It also 設立する the marketing 会社／堅い that won the 契約 did not 供給する timesheets in the form that the 連邦の 政府 要求するd them.
The 明言する／公表する's 契約 with MWW Group created ripples in New Jersey, partly because competitors said the 会社／堅い was 提案するing a higher cost than other 入札者s and because it 手配中の，お尋ね者 its "Stronger than the 嵐／襲撃する" 広告s to feature Gov. Chris Christie and his family. Critics said the 商業のs 量d to taxpayer-基金d （選挙などの）運動をする 広告s for Christie, a 共和国の／共和党の who was running for re-選挙 last year when the 広告s 開始する，打ち上げるd.
U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone, a 民主党員, asked HUD's 視察官 general to look into the questions surrounding the 広告s.
The HUD investigative office 設立する that no 選挙 財政／金融 法律s were 侵害する／違反するd and that there was nothing wrong with the content. It 設立する that the winning 企て，努力，提案 made no について言及する of using the 共和国の／共和党の 知事 in 宣伝s, though a losing 入札者 did 計画（する） to have him in a social マスコミ （選挙などの）運動をする.
The 報告（する）／憶測, which 公式文書，認めるs the 明言する／公表する was under 圧力 to get the 広告s produced quickly after the October 2012 嵐／襲撃する, says the 調達 errors were made because the 明言する／公表する 政府 was not aware of some of the 連邦の 支配するs.
The audit says that MWW did not 最初 服従させる／提出する timesheets 調印するd by the 従業員s and did not give documentation for hours 従業員s worked on other 事業／計画（する）s.
It also says the 明言する／公表する has taken steps to 直す／買収する，八百長をする the problems.
The 明言する／公表する ended up 支払う／賃金ing $23 million ― all in 連邦の 援助（する） ― for the （選挙などの）運動をする. Most of that went to buy airtime rather than to MWW.
