Revelers converged on the beaches of Brazil, the 超高層ビルs of Dubai and New York's Times Square to say good riddance to a 騒然とした 2014 marred by terror woes, Ebola 突発/発生s and a horrific 一連の 航空機による 災害s.

36 killed, 47 負傷させるd in 殺到 at New Year's event on historic Shanghai waterfront

SHANGHAI (AP) ― People unable to 接触する friends and 親族s streamed into hospitals Thursday, anxious for (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) after a 殺到 during New Year's 祝賀s in Shanghai's historic waterfront area killed 36 people in the worst 災害 to 攻撃する,衝突する one of 中国's showcase cities in 最近の years.

The Shanghai 政府 said 47 others received hospital 治療, 含むing 13 who were 本気で 負傷させるd, after the 大混乱 about a half-hour before midnight. Seven of the 負傷させるd people had left hospitals by Thursday afternoon.

North Korea's Kim Jong Un, in New Year's speech, says he is open to 首脳会議 with South

PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) ― North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said in a New Year's speech Thursday that he is open to more 会談 or even a 首脳会議 with his South Korean 相当するもの, a 声明 welcomed by ソウル, which in turn 勧めるd the North to take 固める/コンクリート steps toward 正常化 of relations.
