地震 off coast shakes Northern California
FERNDALE, Calif. (AP) ― The U.S. 地質学の 調査する has downgraded an 地震 off the coast of Northern California to a magnitude-5.1 shaker.
The USGS says the 地震 was 中心d in the 太平洋の Ocean, about 70 miles west of Ferndale, and struck at 4:16 a.m. Thursday. It was 初めは logged as a magnitude-5.3 temblor.
The Victorian village of Ferndale sits about 100 miles south of the Oregon 明言する／公表する line and about 275 miles northwest of Sacramento.
An officer with the Ferndale City Police Department said some slight shaking was felt in the area 早期に Thursday, but no 損失 or 傷害s were 報告（する）／憶測d.
The 地震 was about 250 miles northwest of the 震源地 of a magnitude-6.0 temblor that 原因（となる）d 広範囲にわたる 損失 in Napa and the surrounding area on Aug. 24.
