AP-GfK 投票: After 審議, 投票者s say Clinton most electable
WASHINGTON (AP) ― 民主党員s appear to be 決起大会／結集させるing around Hillary Rodham Clinton after her 命令（する） 業績／成果 in the party's first 大統領の 審議, with strong 大多数s 見解（をとる）ing her 好意的に and more 説 she can 勝利，勝つ the White House than any of her 競争相手s, a new Associated 圧力（をかける）-GfK 投票 shows.
The 調査する 解放（する）d Tuesday finds that Clinton has 回復するd traction in the 2016 最初の／主要な contest に引き続いて a summer 低迷, with nearly 8 in 10 民主党員s 説 they have a 肯定的な opinion of her. That's a slight uptick for Clinton, eight points better than the last time the question was asked in an AP-GfK 投票 in July.
To the extent that there is a 願望（する） for an 代案／選択肢 to Clinton in the Democratic field, the 投票 finds that 副大統領 Joe Biden appears more able to 供給する it than the 謀反の （選挙などの）運動をする of Vermont Sen. Bernie やすりを削る人／削る機械s.

Nearly 7 in 10 民主党員s said they had a 都合のよい 見解（をとる） of Biden, who has spent months 重さを計るing whether to jump into the race. Only about half of 民主党員s say that about やすりを削る人／削る機械s.
やすりを削る人／削る機械s isn't やむを得ず 人気がない の中で 民主党員s, but the longtime political 独立した・無所属 is still not 井戸／弁護士席 known. A third said they don't know enough about him to have a 都合のよい or an unfavorable opinion.
It's not just 民主党員s who 見解（をとる） Clinton as a possible 勝利者. Three ４半期/4分の1s of Americans think Clinton could 勝利，勝つ in a 総選挙, 含むing two-thirds of 共和国の／共和党のs.
By comparison, 56 パーセント of Americans think Biden could 勝利，勝つ and just 44 パーセント think やすりを削る人／削る機械s could （人命などを）奪う，主張する the White House.
一方／合間, いっそう少なく than half of Americans said they think any of the 共和国の／共和党の 候補者s for 大統領，／社長 could 勝利，勝つ in a 総選挙.

"Joe Bi den should stay on the sidelines, he's better that way," said Alonzon McClendon, a 57-year-old 倉庫／問屋 経営者／支配人 in Dallas. "Clinton is more qualified."

The 調査する was 行為／行うd Oct. 15-19, after the first Democratic 審議, and her strong showing there ― the first of three high-profile events for Clinton this month ― appears to have helped 安心させる 支持者s worried about the 明言する／公表する of her （選挙などの）運動をする.
On Thursday, Clinton is scheduled to 証言する before the House 委員会 調査／捜査するing the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans.
Clinton 計画（する）s to use the 審理，公聴会 as an 適切な時期 to lay out her 外交政策 信任状, 強調するing the importance of いわゆる "smart 力／強力にする" ― using 外交 to 達成する 伸び（る）s in dangerous 地域s without 伝統的な 軍の 活動／戦闘.
A Clinton 補佐官 said her goal is to draw a sharp contrast with 共和国の／共和党のs, who they 推定する／予想する will 焦点（を合わせる） on her emails. The 補佐官 said she 計画（する）s to 答える／応じる by 強調する／ストレスing her personal 関係 with Chris Stevens, the U.S. 外交官／大使 to Libya who died in the attacks.
The 補佐官 spoke on 条件 of anonymity, because the person was not 権限を与えるd to 公然と discuss 内部の （選挙などの）運動をする 戦略.
On Saturday, Clinton and やすりを削る人／削る機械s 長，率いる to Des Moines for the Iowa Democratic Party's Jefferson-Jackson dinner, an 年次の 会合 of 影響力のある 行動主義者s that helped then-Sen. Barack Obama find his 地盤 in the 2008 race.
Biden is not scheduled to appear at the event as he continued to ponder whether he's ready for a 大統領の run after the spring death of his son, Beau.
After weeks of public 不決断, 62 パーセント of 民主党員s say they consider Biden very or somewhat 決定的な, compared to 77 パーセント for Clinton and 54 パーセント for やすりを削る人／削る機械s.
Biden leads Clinton の中で 民主党員s on which 候補者 is perceived as most likable, 77 パーセント to 69 パーセント. About equal numbers ― more than 7 in 10 ― consider Biden and Clinton to be at least somewhat compassionate.

民主党員s are also more likely to 述べる Biden than Clinton as very or somewhat honest, 72 パーセント to 60 パーセント. At the same time, more than seven out of ten find Clinton "奮起させるing" and more than 8 out of 10 say she is competent ― giving her a 著名な lead over both Biden and やすりを削る人／削る機械s in those 特徴.
In a contrast with the 共和国の／共和党の 最初の／主要な field, which has been 示すd by the rise of 候補者s with little 政治の experience, two-thirds of Democratic 投票者s say they prefer someone who has experience in Washington over an 部外者.
"The system is broken and it doesn't work 井戸／弁護士席, but I don't think a person who comes with no experience can 直す／買収する，八百長をする it," said Joyce 一致する, 67, a retiree from Vilonia, Arkansas. "Clinton is experienced. She's qualified."

The AP-GfK 投票 of 1,027 adults was 行為／行うd online October 15 to October 19, using a 見本 drawn from GfK's probability-based KnowledgePanel, which is designed to be rep resentative of the U.S. 全住民. The 利ざや of 見本ing error for all 回答者／被告s is 加える or minus 3.3 百分率 points.
回答者／被告s were first selected 無作為に using telephone or mail 調査する methods, and later interviewed online. People selected for KnowledgePanel who didn't さもなければ have 接近 to the Internet were 供給するd 接近 at no cost to them.
