North Jersey casinos may do 井戸／弁護士席, but NYC 競争 ぼんやり現れるs
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) ― If New Jersey follows through on its 計画（する）s to 許す two new casinos in the New York City 郊外s, 分析家s and 賭事ing 産業 公式の／役人s agree they could be の中で the most successful in the country.

New Jersey is moving 今後 with 計画（する）s to ask 投票者s in November to 認可する two new casinos in northern New Jersey, more than 70 miles from 大西洋 City. Although 場所s have not been 明示するd, the two 提案s most often について言及するd are at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford, where the NFL's New York Jets and 巨大（な）s play, and one in Jersey City, the 明言する／公表する's second-largest city, 直接／まっすぐに across the river from Manhattan.

Jeff Gural, who runs the Meadowlands and is partnered with Hard 激しく揺する International Inc. on the casino 提案, said 14.6 million people live within 50 miles of his 跡をつける.
"I think we'd do 広大な／多数の／重要な," he said. "We have the best 場所 for a casino in all of America."
The other casino 提案 comes from footwear 有力者／大事業家 Paul 消防士, who has 拒絶する／低下するd to discuss his $4 billion to $5 billion Jersey City 提案.
Gural 見積（る）s a Meadowlands casino would take in $800 million to $900 million a year from gamblers, 最高位の it の中で the most successful in the nation. Some 分析家s think a Meadowlands casino could 越える $1 billion in 年次の 歳入, at least before it has a nearby competitor in northern New Jersey.

Peter Trombetta, an 分析家 with Moody's 投資家s Service, thinks the north Jersey casinos would do 井戸／弁護士席 ― but at someon e else's expense. In 新規加入 to 害（を与える）ing 大西洋 City, the new casinos could draw 顧客s away from casinos in eastern Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut.

If Manhattan opens a casino, "they'll lose 株, but still be profitable," he said.
