Vettel fastest in 1st day of preseason 実験（する）ing in F1
BARCELONA, Spain (AP) ― In a good 早期に 調印する for Ferrari in its 企て，努力，提案 to challenge Mercedes in 決まり文句／製法 One, Sebastian Vettel was faster than 統治するing 支持する／優勝者 吊りくさび Hamilton on the first day of preseason 実験（する）ing on Monday.
Hamilton was the first car out, but Vettel had the quickest time at the 回路・連盟 de Barcelona. Hamilton was nearly half a second slower, and Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull was third, more than a second behind Vettel. Valtteri Bottas of Williams was fourth.
Although 実験（する） times often can be 誤って導くing, 特に this 早期に, it was 明確に a 肯定的な start for Vettel, who was third in the standings last year and was the only driver to 勝利，勝つ races other than Hamilton and his Mercedes チーム仲間 Nico Rosberg.

"The first impression is good, the new car is a step 今後," Vettel said. "I felt 確信して enough, but we know there is still a lot of work in 前線 of us."
Seven other drivers tried out their cars on the first of four days of 実験（する）ing in Barcelona.
Rosberg will 運動 on Tuesday, as will two-time 支持する／優勝者 Fernando Alonso with McLaren, which last year 耐えるd dismal results under a 新たにするd 共同 with engine 供給者 Honda.
Alonso's チーム仲間, Jenson Button, had a 約束ing first 開会／開廷／会期 for McLaren by running 84 （競技場の）トラック一周s and showing no 明らかな 調印するs of the reliability 問題／発行するs that 疫病／悩ますd the team last season. He was sixth fastest at the end of the day.
Hamilton was by far the busiest driver with 156 （競技場の）トラック一周s 完全にするd, more than 二塁打 than Vettel, who ran 69 （競技場の）トラック一周s. A race at the 回路・連盟 de Barcelona is 66 （競技場の）トラック一周s.
"It feels very much the same as last year's car, to be honest," Hamilton said. "It doesn't feel any different. That's a good thing, last year's car was good."
Bottas was the third fastest in the morning 開会／開廷／会期 but was overtaken by Ricciardo in the afternoon, when the 跡をつける was hotter and 速度(を上げる）s were slower.
"The 進歩 so far is 肯定的な," Red Bull team 主要な／長／主犯 Christian Horner said. "Daniel 報告（する）／憶測d nothing 消極的な about the ca r. It seems to be 演説（する）／住所ing some of the shortcomings of last year's car 同様に."

"It's just important to get a lot of mileage, to 調印する off all the reliability things, and to build a good understanding about your car and tires," said 軍隊 India driver Nico Hulkenberg, who will start 実験（する）ing on Wednesday. "That's the most important things in these 早期に days."
Mercedes has 支配するd the last two F1 seasons, and with no major 規則 changes this year, is 推定する／予想するd to be the team to catch again. The 実験（する） 開会／開廷／会期s in Barcelona should 示す if any of its 競争相手s have made 重要な 伸び（る）s ― or if, again, the fight will be for second place.
"Teams have not changed the 概念s of their cars, so I 推定する／予想する the grid to stay やめる 類似の to last year's," 軍隊 India driver Sergio Perez said. "But you never know, once you get to Melbourne everything changes so quickly, so it will be やめる 利益／興味ing to see where everyone is."
The final 実験（する） 開会／開廷／会期s are scheduled for March 1-4, also in Barcelona. The first of 21 races is on March 20 in Australia.
Most teams had already 開始する，打ち上げるd their new cars online and through social マスコミ, but some made their 公式の／役人 贈呈 to the マスコミ on t he 炭坑，オーケストラ席 小道／航路, with drivers and team members 提起する／ポーズをとるing for photos in 前線 of cars before Monday 実験（する）s got 進行中で. の中で them were Haas and Renault, which took over financially strapped Lotus. Mercedes and 軍隊 India also introduced their cars at the 跡をつける.
