French 大統領，／社長 公約するs support for Lebanon during visit
BEIRUT (AP) ― French 大統領 Francois Hollande said Saturday his country will stand by Lebanon to 上げる 安全 in the tiny Arab country that is "surrounded by 危機 and wars" and 勧めるd the 議会 to elect a new 大統領，／社長 whose 地位，任命する has been 空いている for nearly two years.
Hollande said Paris will give 即座の 援助 to 上げる Lebanon's 能力s in fighting テロ行為, 追加するing that the 弁護 大臣s from the two countries will discuss the 詳細（に述べる）s.

Lebanon is home to more than a million 登録（する）d Syrian 難民s, the 同等（の） of a ４半期/4分の1 the country's 全住民 of 4.5 million. Another half a million Syrians live in the country 同様に.
An 公式の／役人 儀式 was held outside the 議会 building in downtown Beirut where Hollande received a red carpet welcome. Usually 長，率いるs of 明言する／公表する are welcomed by the 大統領，／社長 but the 地位，任命する in Lebanon has been empty since May 2014 when the 称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 of 大統領 Michel Suleiman ended.
"Lebanon is hosting more than 1.5 million 難民s and therefore we have to give Lebanon 団結 and 援助," Hollande said after 会合 議会 （衆議院の）議長 Nabih Berri, 追加するing that Paris will give 援助 価値（がある） 50 million euros ($56.4 million) in 2016 and 100 million euros ($112.8 million) in the coming years.
He later met 総理大臣 Tammam Salam at the Grand Serail in Beirut.
"フラン stands by you and フラン is 関心d that 安全 is 上げるd in Lebanon through 軍の 協調," Hollande said.
"We are with you because Lebanon is surrounded by 危機 and wars ... Leb anon that knows the war on its 国境 also knows the 脅し of テロ行為," Hollande said referring to Syria's civil war that has 流出／こぼすd over into Lebanon on several occasions.
Lebanon and フラン have also been struck by attacks from the 極端論者 Islamic 明言する／公表する group. A day before the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris that that killed 130 people, two 自殺 攻撃者s struck in Beirut 殺人，大当り nearly 50 people and 負傷させるing many others.
"The 安全 of Lebanon is the 安全 of フラン," Hollande said 追加するing that the attacks on the two countries' shows 団結 between them.
Hollande 勧めるd Lebanese 政治家，政治屋s to elect a new 大統領，／社長 説 "I want to come 支援する to Lebanon to 会合，会う the 大統領，／社長. I don't have a 解答 for that but the answer is with you, the Lebanese 立法議員s."
More than 30 議会 開会／開廷／会期s have failed to elect a new 大統領，／社長 まっただ中に 分割s between the country's political groups.
The 交戦的な Hezbollah group 問題／発行するd a 声明 説 they will not 会合，会う with Hollande during his visit. Hezbollah, which is Lebanon's most powerful group, has sent thousands of 闘士，戦闘機s to Syria to 支援する 大統領 Bashar Assad.
フラン, the onetime 植民地の 支配者 of both Syria and Lebanon, has been one of the most outspoken Western critics of Assad. In 2013, the European Union 指名するd the 軍の wing of Hezbollah a テロリスト organization.
