TOUR DE FRANCE: Astana 目的（とする）s to 追加する yellow to pink
ROME (AP) ― When the team directors at Astana sat 負かす／撃墜する to 計画（する） this season, the 輪郭（を描く） went something like this: A pink jersey for Vincenzo Nibali, a yellow jersey for Fabio Aru, and a gold メダル for Nibali.
Nibali carried out the first part of the 計画（する） to perfection by winning the Giro d'Italia. Aru has to do his part when the 小旅行する de フラン starts on Saturday at Mont-Saint-Michel. Then Nibali is 推定する／予想するd to lead Italy's team in the road race at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics with support from Aru.
While Nibali's Giro victory was produced in 劇の fashion by taking the lead on the penultimate 行う／開催する／段階, winning the 小旅行する on Aru's debut in the French classic should be a much tougher assignment, even with Nibali 補佐官ing Aru as an ありそうもない support rider.

"When we made this choice in November after the 小旅行する 贈呈 we knew it was the most difficult 選択 for Fabio," Astana team director Giuseppe Martinelli said in a 最近の interview with The Associated 圧力（をかける）.
"After finishing third and second in the Giro the last two years, it would have been easier to 目的（とする） for the Giro," Martinelli 追加するd. "We decided to 目的（とする） for the 小旅行する because we don't have anything to lose. And because we're 納得させるd we can do 井戸／弁護士席."
The climbing specialist Aru won the Spanish Vuelta last year and at 25 is considered one of the 未来 星／主役にするs of the 小旅行する.
Only 11 cyclists have won the 小旅行する on their first 試みる／企てる, 含むing 広大な／多数の／重要なs Eddy Merckx, Fausto Coppi, Jacques Anquetil and Felice Gimondi.
The last man to 達成する the feat was French rider Laurent Fignon in 1983.
Aru, however, is not even considered の中で the 最高の，を越す three favorites for this year's 小旅行する. He's 一般に 階級d just below defending 支持する／優勝者 Chris Froome, two-time 勝利者 Alberto Contador, and two-time 走者-up Nairo Quintana.
"We realize that the best riders and teams go to the 小旅行する, that they're all in 最高の，を越す form, and that it's not going to be 平易な," Martinelli said. "But Fabio has always surprised us since he turned プロの／賛成の. So I hope the same thing happens at the 小旅行する.
"Not many people 推定する／予想するd Fabio's Vuelta victory."
As for Nibali's 役割, Martinelli has 扱うd having two captains in the same squad before. He was at Saeco when Damiano Cunego usurped team leadership from Gilberto Simoni to 勝利，勝つ the 2004 Giro, and he guided Stefano Garzelli to an 予期しない pink jersey in 2000 when captain Marco Pantani struggled.
"This is a little different, because there are so many different goals on 申し込む／申し出 and we can 扱う it a little better," Martinelli said. "The Giro victory has made Vincenzo much more relaxed, he's already 達成するd one of his 主要な／長／主犯 goals for this season.
"(Nibali) is going to the 小旅行する with the 目的（とする） of 確実にするing that Fabio remains in the best possible 条件, to help him do 井戸／弁護士席, and be 競争の激しい in some 行う／開催する／段階s. But the main thing is to 準備する for the Olympics."
Nibali has not raced since the Giro and has been 準備するing for the 小旅行する with a 15-day training （軍の）野営地，陣営 on the 1,918-メーター (6,293-foot) San Pellegrino Pass.
Having won the 小旅行する in 2014, and as the 支えるもの／所有者 of four Grand 小旅行する victories, is Nibali really not considering a run at the general 分類 in フラン?
"I don't think so," Martinelli said. "I'm not thinking about that 権利 now. We all know that Fabio has 用意が出来ている 井戸／弁護士席 for the 小旅行する and in our 計画（する）s, Vincenzo is the guy for the Olympics."
Nobody since Pantani in 1998 has won the Giro and 小旅行する in the same year.
Contador made a 明言する／公表するd 試みる／企てる at the 二塁打 last year but followed up his Giro 勝利，勝つ with a fifth-place finish in the 小旅行する, 認めるing that he ran out of energy.
"It's very ありそうもない to happen again," said Martinelli, who directed Pantani's Mercatone Uno team in '98.
Whatever the results, this will likely be Nibali's last 小旅行する with Astana. The Sicilian is 推定する／予想するd to join a new World 小旅行する team from Bahrain next year.
"There are a lot of r umors out there regarding Nibali and I really think there's a chance that Nibali could leave our squad," Martinelli said. "But Astana will go on. Nibali is important to the squad but there are other riders who can make the team proud, too."
