MEXICO CITY (AP) ― Police and 視察官s in Mexico City have 一連の会議、交渉／完成するd up 80 gypsy cabs on the 資本／首都's west 味方する, where a Spanish woman was 誘拐するd and later killed after getting in an unregistered taxi last month.
The city's 査察 機関 says the unlicensed cabs were taken to impound lots Tuesday after 存在 caught around the upscale Santa Fe 近隣.
Maria Villar Galaz got into what she believed was a taxi in Santa Fe on Sept. 13. A man entered the car and immobilized her with a stun gun. She was held for 身代金 and her 団体／死体 was 設立する Sept. 15. The driver was 逮捕（する）d last week.
Mexico City had made 進歩 in making cabs safer since a wave of taxi 罪，犯罪s in the 1990s and 2000s, but gypsy cabs have since proliferated.
