KAPOLEI, Hawaii (AP) ― Waves, 勝利,勝つd and 不明瞭 妨害するd the ocean search off Hawaii for a Chinese man 報告(する)/憶測d 行方不明の while 試みる/企てるing to 始める,決める a sailing 記録,記録的な/記録する, the U.S. Coast Guard 操縦する who was the 使節団's 空気/公表する 指揮官 said Thursday.

"It was pretty 失望させるing not to find him, not to hear him," Lt. Ben 力/強力にするs said at 空気/公表する 駅/配置する Barbers Point in west Oahu, the morning after the Coast Guard called off its search for Guo Chuan. "The hardest thing we do is search for a person in the water because it's a 抱擁する ocean."

As one of the 操縦するs of one of the HC-130 Hercules 計画(する)s that 参加するd in the search, 力/強力にするs spent hours scanning the ocean for Guo through 4-to-6-foot waves. There was no moon, he said, so 照明 was low even with night-見通し goggles.
