GOP 知事s gather まっただ中に 押し進める for '破壊的な change'

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) ― The nation's 共和国の/共和党の 知事s met Tuesday in battleground Florida where they said were "giddy" at the 適切な時期 for "破壊的な changes" to ひったくる 力/強力にする from Washington に引き続いて the 選挙 of Donald Trump.

Wisconsin's Scott Walker, the 後継の chairman of the 共和国の/共和党の 知事s 協会, said that "the sky's the 限界" and that the "可能性s are endless now" that there was a 共和国の/共和党の 大統領,/社長 and a 共和国の/共和党の 大多数 in 議会.

Walker and other 知事s ticked off a long 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) of areas they would like to 伸び(る) more 支配(する)/統制する over whether it was education, transportation, workplace 支配するs, health care or 環境の 政策s.

The nation's 共和国の/共和党の 知事s are 会合 in battleground Florida with an 予期しない 適切な時期: a 大統領,/社長-elect of their own party with political IOUs to 支払う/賃金, perhaps the 事業/計画(する)s the party's 長,率いるs of the 明言する/公表するs prefer. But it was (疑いを)晴らす that there was not 完全にする unanimity の中で the 知事s on how to unwind 大統領 Barack Obama's health care 精密検査する that 含むd an 拡大 of Medicaid, the nation's main safety 逮捕する health care program for the poor. An 概算の 20 million Americans are now receiving ニュース報道 through different elements of the 精密検査する 含むing Medicaid or through health care 交流s that 申し込む/申し出 保険 政策s.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott called the 精密検査する a "災害" and repeated several times that 共和国の/共和党のs need to 廃止する it 完全に, although he 示唆するd they should find a way to 保持する some more popular sections - such as the one 許すing parents to keep their children on their 政策s until they turn 26-years-old.

"It doesn't work, it's didn't 支配(する)/統制する costs, it was a 完全にする 嘘(をつく)," said Scott, a former health care (n)役員/(a)執行力のある who ran one of the nation's largest hospital chain and was 軍隊d out まっただ中に a 連邦の 調査 that resulted in the company 支払う/賃金ing a 記録,記録的な/記録する 罰金 of $1.7 billion for Medicaid 詐欺.

New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, however, said she 推定する/予想するd people to continue to 入会させる for 保険 using health care 交流s as long as it's the 法律 and that they can't just take away 保険 from people who have it now.

"I don't know that there will ever be a turn off the switch, wait a period of time and then turn it 支援する on," said Martinez. "There is going to have to be a 移行 and not leave everyone uninsured."

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who 公式文書,認めるd that Medicaid was 拡大するd in his 明言する/公表する 事前の to his 選挙, called for a "thoughtful approach" to 改造するing health care and said what he wants the ability to put in 付加 必要物/必要条件s for Medicaid 受取人s such as work 必要物/必要条件s. Hutchinson has tried to 勝利,勝つ 連邦の 是認 for some of his ideas but said he had been "stymied" by the Obama 行政.

The 付加 支配(する)/統制する that 明言する/公表するs are 捜し出すing over Medicaid was one of the items that 副大統領-elect マイク Pence について言及するd during a 私的な 会合 with many of the GOP 知事s on Monday evening によれば a 声明 put out by the Trump (選挙などの)運動をする.

Many of the other 共和国の/共和党の 知事s 特記する/引用するd Pence, who is 現在/一般に the Indiana 知事, as someone who they could turn to once Trump is sworn in as 大統領,/社長. While Scott was a 会社/堅い 支援者 of Trump before the 選挙, other 知事s …に出席するing the 会議/協議会 had 異なるing opinions of Trump. Martinez, the nation's only Latina 知事, did not 是認する Trump although she congratulated him after his 勝利,勝つ.

But while some 共和国の/共和党の 知事s may not have 株d the same level of enthusiasm for Trump they said 多重の times Tuesday that they were looking ahead to the changes they 推定する/予想する to come in the next few months. Some 警告するd, however, that the 不満 from Americans that may have propelled Trump and 共和国の/共和党のs to success on 選挙 Day will come 支援する to haunt them if they don't f ollow through on many of the 約束s that have been made so far. Several 知事s said the GOP needs to move quickly within Trump's first 100 days to carry out their 協議事項.

"We cannot squander this 適切な時期," said Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey.
